This is a traditional family-run trattoria in an idyllic location on one of Treviso's smaller canals. Sadly it didn't match up to our expectations. There were only a few other people eating (it was a midweek evening when we visited in fairness) but the lady serving was rather peremptory. My plate of salami for starters and veal as a main course was perfectly acceptable but my partner's prawn spaghetti dish was stodgy, with small prawns and bits of bacon. These weren't mentioned on the menu which was particularly annoying as she doesn't eat meat. Maybe we just caught them on an off-day.

This is a great place to visit when in Treviso. Often busy with teenagers but otherwise quiet and romantic.

Treviso is an excellent little town which is one of the old walled towns (from the Romans?) in northern Italy.The water flowing through Treviso gives the little town a Venise feel and the walks during day or evening is especially very nice. Don't miss the opportunity to have a local Spritz at one of the many little local pubs during an evening stroll.When I return to this region I will definitely stay a couple of days in Treviso for sightseeing, shopping and doing the history tourist thing in little germ town. What I loved most is that I have encountered very few tourists in Treviso and I found the shopping and prices very resonable.

After staying in Venice for one week I found this area of the city as a small version of the famous city that stands over the water. Take a walk there if you visit Treviso, it is a picturesque area and a nice place to take some photos.

Lovely area for a stroll. It reminded me of Venice. Well, after all Treviso is known for its ties with the water. Little Venice, not far away from Venice.

Uno dei scorci più belli della città che collega la vicina piazza rinaldi sede del comune alla posteriore splendida piazza san vito. Percorso sotto il portico fiancheggiato dal canale ove si può scorgere anche l'abitazione di un premio letterario. Al termine del percorso c'e' anche un bel ristorantino che nel perioo estivo mette fuori qualche tavolino. Una breve passeggiata in mezzo ad uno degli angoli più suggestivi della città.

Questa attrazione turistica è situata nel cuore di Treviso, vicino a Piazza dei Signori e a due passi dalla Chiesa di San Francesco. Sarà che io ho un debole per i canali e le atmosfere veneziane, sta di fatto che questo è per me il punto più affascinante della città. E' molto bello camminare sotto i portici e vedere tutti gli edifici riflessi sull'acqua. E' inevitabile scattare un bel po' di foto.

E' uno squarcio della città di Treviso unico e indimenticabile.Camminare sotto i portici dei Buranelli ha sempre il suo fascino. Atmosfera di tempi andati, con l'acqua che ti scorre vicino, la casa di Comisso, attraversare il ponte che sta in mezzo al canale e fermarsi a guardare da ogni lato con una visuale diversa è una esperienza da fare (infatti è la meta obbligata delle foto matrimoniali). E poi continuare a camminare in quella zona che è antica e ben tenuta ti regala momenti unici.

Angolo emozionante dai colori veneziani, con le case che sembrano sorgere dalle acque e le vecchie ruote dei mulini, ricordo di tempi passati.
