The inside of the castle has fantastic period furniture - though most of it not original to the locale. A fascinating dining room, lots of old weapons, and interesting chimneys. Typical castle stuff. Great location and walking distance to an older fortress further up the hill. A pleasant afternoon.

We arrived at 10.15 and asked for a tour. We immediately got a private one, because this early we were the first visitors of the day. Our guide spoke very good English, and was able to answer all our questions. The tour takes you through the armour room, the Venetian style domestic part of the castle, the Venetian garden and the kitchen. The tour takes about 40 minutes and is well worth the time.

Monselice is a small and a bit sleepy, but the walk up to the castillo completed our after-dinner stroll. Nice view of Monselice from the castillo.

Very nice place where i've passed a good morning with my girlfriend in January after a week-end trip in Terme Euganee. It was a Sunday and we also find a suggestive local party with a lot of old-time jobs and several food-stand. We visited the tower of the castle, old walled city and Francescan Monastry.

Very interesting especially the weapon collection. I liked also the medieval kitchen and the garden outside with the nice view.

La mattinata di San Valentino abbiamo visitato il Castello con visita guidata e poi il mio compagno mi ha proposto di pranzare all'osteria al castello. Nella bacheca del locale era affisso il menu di san Valentino, gia con la colina in bocca ci accomodiamo ma alla richiesta del menu ci viene negato perché previsto solo per la cena. Abbiamo consumato alla carta ma purtroppo speso ben di più .....e non per un pranzo completo! Lamento la non chiarezza del volantino esposto e pubblicizzato anche dalla Pro loco e info di Monselice che in occasione della festa lo pubblicizzava come locale convenzionato....gli innamorati del pranzo non meritano lo stesso trattamento di quelli della Sera?

Il castello mi è piaciuto, ma sono rimasto un po' deluso dal paese. Speravo di trovare aperte anche le 7 chiese.

Situato nella parte più alta della cittadina governa tutta la pianura e spicca poderoso trail paesaggio diversificato.Accoglie durante l'anno numerose manifestazioni di vario genere come spettacoli, sfilate, ecc. Visitabile e molto caratteristico.

Il castello si trova nel centro di Monselice, ai piedi del colle della Rocca. Molto suggestiva la visita nelle sale interne, in particolare quella delle Armi. Da visitare.
