Dear visitor, I am very sorry for the bad experience that You and Your friends lived.I will try to clarify some points you exposed: -Bats are still numerous in the cave, in the speleological branch. The story to which You refer regard the intervention of the Chemical Company "Organic Fertilizers of Naples": in 1931, was taken from cave the guano (bats dropping) used as fertilizer.- The layout of the route to make the cave accessible to the public has been built according to the current regulations and directives of ISCA (International Show Caves Association). The cement, as well as stainless steel and eco-friendly plastic are suitable materials for these fittings because they cause the least impact in the medium/long term. Other materials, such as wood, are much more impactful because of their organic origin: its deterioration over the medium/long term could cause micro-variations of the underground ecosystem and upset the energy balance of the cave and its food chain. These precautions, with the other initiatives undertaken by the MIdA Foundation (managing entity of the Caves) has granted the recognition of the National Park of Cilento, Vallo di Diano and Alburni as UNESCO Geopark, recognition reserved to natural area with important geological sites, managed granting the environmental compatibility of tourist use. - I'm really mortified that you have found inside the cave trash and cigarettes stubs. In May, when You visited the caves, we record an average attendance of nearly 400 people a day, including many boys. Every evening our operators shall ensure the removal of waste which, unfortunately, some unruly visitors leave around. - The wooden boat used for crossing the underground river Negro, unique experience in Europe, can safely accommodate up to 35 people. - The electrical cable that You see, the plastic installation and images of some historical figures, were part of a theatrical performance that took place each morning in May and, for requirements stage, could not be removed. To date, however, are no longer present.On the other negative experiences regarding the bus driver and the restaurant, I am are very sorry, but I suggest you to make a complaint to the Tour Operator. Kind regardsGentile visitatore,sono molto dispiaciuta per la brutta esperienza vissuta da lei e dai suoi amici.Cercherò di chiarirle alcuni punti da lei esposti:-- I pipistrelli sono ancora numerosi all'interno della Grotta, all'interno del ramo speleologico. La storia a cui fa riferimento riguardo l'intervento della Compagnia Chimica "Concimi Organici di Napoli", nel 1931, quando è stato usato il guano (escrementi di pipistrello) prelevato dall'interno delle Grotte ed usato come fertilizzante naturale.-- L'allestimento del percorso per rendere fruibile la grotta al pubblico è stato realizzato seguendo le norme vigenti e le direttive dell'ISCA (Associazione Internazionale di Grotte Turistiche). Il cemento, così come l'acciaio inossidabile e la plastica eco-compatibile, sono materiali adatti a tali allestimenti in quanto causano il minimo impatto nel medio-lungo termine. Altri materiali, quali ad esempio il legno, sono molto più impattanti in quanto di origine organica: il suo deterioramento nel medio-lungo termine potrebbe causare delle micro-variazioni dell'ecosistema sotterarneo e sconvolgere il bilancio energetico della grotta e la relativa catena alimentare.Queste accortezze, insieme ad altre iniziative messe in campo dalla Fondazione MIdA (Ente gestore delle Grotte) ha garantito al sito il riconoscimento di Geoparco UNESCO, riservato ai siti geologici che garantiscono la compatibilità ambientale della fruizione turistica.-- Sono davvero mortificata che abbiate trovato all'interno delle Grotta spazzatura e mozzoni di sigaretta. A Maggio, quando lei ci ha fatto visita, registriamo una presenza media di quasi 400 persone al giorno, tra cui molti ragazzini. Ogni sera i nostri operatori provvedono alla rimozione dei rifiuti che, purtroppo, alcuni visitatori indisciplinati abbandonano in giro.-- La barca in legno con cui si attraversa il fiume sotterraneo Negro, esperienza unica in Europa, può ospitare in tutta sicurezza fino a 35 persone.-- I cavi elettrici che ha visto, le installazioni in plastica e le immagini rapprentative di alcuni personaggi storici, fanno parte di uno spettacolo teatrale che si svolgeva tutte le mattine del mese di Maggio e che, per esigenze sceniche, non potevano essere rimosse. Ad oggi comunque non sono più presenti.Sulle altre esperienze negative riguardanti l'autista dell'autobus e il ristorante, sono molto dispiaciuta ma le consiglio di far un reclamo al suo Tour Operator.In ogni caso saremmo lieti di ricevere le sue impressioni più dettagliate sulla visita alla nostra email info@grottedipertosa-auletta.it.Cordiali Saluti.

madre natura ha creato degli scenari e delle sculture stupende, se si trascorre un weekend nei paesi vicini non si può non visitare questo luogo incantevole.

Più volte sono stato in queste grotte definite grotte dell'Angelo ed ogni volta rimango sorpreso per la bellezza che madre natura riesce a fare nel corso degli anni,a completare l'opera sono le luci soffuse e colorate che sono state messe per abbellire le grotte.Bello lo spettacolo che si presenta ,si inizia con un viaggio in barca molto lento, guidata a mano dalla guida mediante fili tesi,ricorda il traghettatore di anime Caronte dell'inferno di Dante,proprio in queste grotte rivissuto.Arrivati al punto di sbarco,si abbandona la barca proseguendo a piedi camminando nel ventre di queste grotte con una emozione e silenzio, riuscendo a sentire solo le parole della guida,persone competenti.Insomma si vivono emozioni continue perchè ogni angolo è bello.Da visitare almeno una volta nella vita,oltre ad arricchirsi culturalmente, anche emotivamente.Le consiglio,forse l'unico neo, il biglietto di entrata un pò caro, 20 euro a persona.
