It's hard to say what I liked about this totally quaint place as I just wanted to put my arms around it and take it home ! it is just a must see

It was a place where poeple used to bring to feed their sheeps. Since it has been rediscovered became an important attraction for this part of the Calabria.It's one of the few reamaining Byzantine temples in Italy.It's very little, but after seeing this little church you can take the stairs and after a walk get on the top of the mount and visit the castle's ruins/ or go into the medieval part of the cityMUST SEE!Got to go late in the afternoon, 'cause you know you are in Calabria, after 17 it should be open!

It is worth a detour to visit this Byzantine church with the remains of beautiful frescos. The attendant was very helpful. It was a disappointment that we were not able to take pictures inside, but we were very happy to be able to visit the interior. The location is dramatic and picturesque -- even in the fog.

Cattolica is a beautifully restored Byzantine church with portions of frescos still clearly visible, in Stilo, a village nested in the hills of Calabria, near the sea. Too bad there was no information or brochures with historical details provided. It is still worth a visit just to see this structure, simple and beautiful.

This is an impressive structure because of its location and age but is quite small. I have to say that the effort to reach this attraction is not rewarded in kind. If you find yourself in Stilo, by all means see this site.

Chiesetta bizantina con 1000 anni si storia, ben tenuta all'esterno e all'interno, dove è possibile vedere magnifici affreschi. Posizionata in un punto molto panoramico, è visitabile gratuitamente. Disponibile il custode

Sita in un punto panoramico nel borgo di Stilo ( RC), la chiesetta Bizantina del x sec. è ben tenuta e all'interno potete ammirare i resti di qualche affresco.E' davvero un bijoux!!Fate un salto anche ai ruderi del castello e per le vie del borgo..da lì la provinciale vi porta in mezzo ai boschi fino a raggiungere Serre San Bruno dove potete ammirare la Certosa , la più antica in Italia!!Fate un salto anche in paese e assagiate i prodotti tipici del posto!! Veramente ottimi

La visita merita davvero il viaggio. Un esempio di architettura particolare in un paesaggio magico. Il custode e' stato disponibile e il luogo ci e' parso ben curato, il tutto completamente gratuito! Secondo noi sarebbe giusto far pagare qualcosa per la visita, per garantire la massima cura del luogo!

Immancabile la visita a questo gioiellino! Chiesetta bizantina del X secolo, ben tenuta, sono ancora visibili alcuni affreschi. Posizionata in un punto panoramico. L'entrata è gratuita.
