Back to Scilla after many years , it changed a lot ... Really crowded beaches ... Chianalea has been renovated , one of the most remarkable marine neighbourhood in Italy

Beautiful village, just next to the water. Plenty of lidos nearby. We had some ice cream from Zanzibar which was delicious. Lovely beach surrounded by mountains with a picturesque view of the Ruffo castle. The water was simply beautiful!! Highly recommended visit!

Chianalea is a very old charming neighborhood on the waters edge. The houses are built right up to the water. You can feel and see the history walking through the narrow streets.

It was very interesting to see the swordfish fleet circling the bay during the swordfish hunt each day. There are fantastic views from the castle over Scilla and Chianalea.We were rather upset by the number of plastic bottles lying around on the beach, however.

A 30min train ride takes you to this piece of geographical beauty.The Straits of Messina's pristine water encased by mountains is before you.A windy walk down to the beach takes you numerous back gardens.Lovely beach with a few local sun worshippers and just beautiful to look out.Ate on the beach…good salads and a beer.There are some THINGS to see but I was having a day 'off' from a map and entry fees.It provided a lovely day at the beach.

Gorgeous beach town 30 minutes from Reggio. Great Gelatorias and pizzerias. Yu can also see the castello ruffo, an ancient castle at the top of this seaside village
