First of all, I suggest you should go there for a walk or in the morning at about 09-10, or early in the afternoon at about 15-19. Early in the morning you can enjoy the really clean atmosphere and the amazing sun shines. In the afternoon it is really nice too until the light starts to disappear, it is very romantic and melancholic too. You can go there for a walk , to run and exercise yourself, to let your children play on the grass and feel the nature. There is also a small lake with ducks and other birds that is really nice. After that you can make a visit to the famous Villa Reale and enjoy a hot chocolate (in winter) in the cafeteria. Trust me, it is worth going there!

I loved the formality and european courtesies of every staff member at Hotel de la Ville. They are very welcoming, and yet perfectly professional. The bar, managed by Barty, is often presenting new cocktails according to the local festivities. i.e. the parmegiano fest was celebrated with a martini supporting parmegiano in a very delightful manner. delicious too.

The Monza Parc is fantastic. it is very big, it is 668 hectares (Central Park is 341, Hyde Park is 253). inside of the park there is everything from a rice track to a riding stables, lakes, golf court. it is fantastic to go with family. there is the Villa di Monza in the park, it has been just restored, very nice. There are restaurants and bars, it is great to visit in every season to see the color changes.there is a touristic electric mini train, a bike rental.

Monza park is absolutely massive. We spent a couple of hours walking through it from the entrance nearest the train station up to the race track and back again. It offers plenty of shade and even though there was a practice session on at the track the park was fairly quiet. We missed out on seeing some of the attractions of the park simply due to it being such a vast park. To get the most out of visiting the park I would recommend biking. I was surprised to see there was no where in the park you could rent a bike from, really feels like they are missing a trick by not offering this.

It's a huge park and we crossed part of it on our way to the Autodromo di Monza (F1 GP). We enjoyed seeing many people enjoying the park and the bibliothek within the park.

You can't help but think that this is an attraction waiting for an injection of funds to make it world class. It has an amazing history but I wonder what its future will hold.

Great place to chill, or go running, or bike riding! Has a bike route, plenty of grass, and in the right weather, worth the travel!

It really is a lovely park, one of the rare bits of green in the endless sprawl of Milan-Monza. The parts around the Villa Reale are more formal , reminiscent a bit of Kenwood Park- once you get away from there it seems much more like Richmond Park with farms, woods, and open grasslands. The further you get from the car parks the better. It gets crowded in summer , but even so there are plenty of bits off the beaten track where the crowds disappear. The best way to get around is to rent a bike. If you are staying in Milan and get tired of the heat, Monza is about 15 minutes by train from the Central Station. Once you get to Monza station, it is about a 25 minute walk straight through the pedestrian zone in the City Centre to get to the park. Well worth the trip in you have a bit more time on your hands and want to get out of Milan.

Large park where the locals like to visit. Families were out and about enjoying the day. The rose garden is first class and well maintained.
