Very historic racetrack in a beautiful park. The track, itself, is a favorite of all race drivers. It is nicknamed "the temple of speed" and lives up to its name.

Everyone was really friendly and helpful. Good tip - you can bring your own beer - you can buy beer there but it's pricey. Food was cheap and cheerful from the food stands. I can't wait to go back.

Every September the Formula1 teams race around the fastest track in the series. The track itself is set in a very large park, with golf courses, picnic areas, and lots of room for camping. It is located on the outskirts of Milan in a small town called Monza. Not much to see in Monza but the park is amazing. And the race is always a thrill for car nuts, as evidenced by the large crowds this race draws every year. If you have to see any 2 races in your lifetime, I recommend Monza and the May race at Monaco. Very different places and styles.I always drive around Italy but getting to Monza park is not easy, and parking is almost impossible at race time. So I stay up at Bellagio on Lake Como and take the train to the track for the events. The only strange thing about the train is, though there is a station right at the track (called Biassono Lesmo), the train from Lake Como does not stop there on Sunday (race day)! It does stop other event days, but on Sunday you have to take a train to Monza station, hop on a bus (crowded and not fun) and get dropped off a 30-45 minute walk from the track entrance. Weird! Gotta wonder about the Italians sometimes.Anyway, race is awesome, track is great, and Monza is the best. Best stands to sit are 6C, 26, 16. I like 6C best since it is at the first chicane and normally crashes happen here.

Just 15 minutes by train from Milan is the Monza circuit! In a very beautiful town and surrounded by a large park is one of the most famous F1 circuits! Sadly I was not there during race days but none the less it was an amazing experience and a nice way to spend my afternoon! Worth visiting if you are a car fanatic as there are a lot of events with supercars during non race days!

This was the second time we attended the Italian Gran Prix and love the Monza circuit.Be warned; the track is in a huge, beautiful park in Monza and is a long walk if you don't know where your seats are or are familar with the track. The first time at the track we took the train from Milan and there was a bus to take us to the circuit. It gets very busy on Saturday and Sunday and patience is needed. There are not many taxi's to be found and if you are lucky to find one; tip the driver and make arrangements to have him drive you daily. We did this on our second trip to the race and rented an apartment in Monza which made it much easier. The circuit is amazing and has a lot of history.First time we attended we had seats at the top of the stands directly across from pit entrance. This time we were at turn 1 and saw lots of excitement. We have attended other races but really like this circuit the best.

Hi as part of our 6 week tour in our Motorhome we made Monza part of the Itinerary. Boughten tickets direct and camped with Camping F1 by the circuit. Ok yes the parties and noise goes on to 1am but what an experience. Excellent organisation throughout and blessed with great weather. Bonus as we bought a 3 day ticket and husband because of his disability uses a motorised wheelchair so not only were we allowed to do the pit walk on Thursday but were allowed really close to the cars and to make our day managed to speak and get pix with Nico Rosberg though pleased to say our hero won. Thank you everyone for a great time and look forward to next year

Put simply, Monza is a park in a town. There are no proper car parks. But be friendly to the locals and you can make your own luck...we found a couple of options just 100 yards from the park gates near the Curva Grande. I have been three times before and found Grandstand 6 on the inside of the first chicane the best place to watch so far. Always a compromise at Monza - but this grandstand had excellent large TV screens opposite and we could see all the action from before the breaking zone to 100 yards after the exit of the chicane. The classic tracks - Silverstone, Spa, Monza - are the best to truly experience Formula One in the raw. This place oozes passion...and Lewis won which was great to see!

A great weekend lost of racing and lots more, was seated at Rettifilo, a good place to be for the sights and sounds first corner after the start, slowly they become further apart which is actually quite good if they didn't then there would be nothing o look at most of the time. The first few laps are amazing with all cars entering the tight complex of the chicane at the same time, as I'm sure you are aware there isn't room for some many cars in that small space. A great weekend. There are lots of different races every day so always something to see. Plus the usual merchandising stand from all the teams attending. I was here for the 2013 Formula 1 meeting and not as the listing says in November. it wouldn't allow e to go back more than a year with my review. Enjoy the race :-)

We had excellent seats thanks to our hosts. Even better as it was the corner that Nico went off at, twice. Plenty of action over the weekend. The Italian Ferrari fans made it special, getting the crowd to join in singing, Mexican waves and creating a giant Italian flag out of coloured paper (covering the entire stand)! Much of the track is access through the woods / forest. Which makes for a pleasant walk! Food & Drink were more expensive than the town but that is what you get for going to the F1. But not prohibitively expensive. You need to plan how to get to the track. The train stop was a good hours walk from stand (be careful which train stop you get off at!) ... on Sunday the service we previously used did not run! We hired a coach, which had to park in the official coach park, which was a good hour and a half's walk!
