This was a fun way to spend a few hours but there wasn't much to see or do when we got to Framura . Don't let that stop you there are some great photo opportunities along the ride. Good for beginners like me .

Good family experience. November was quiet so towns were like ghost towns, but we took a picnic with us and bought drinks when in Bonassola

I walked this cycling/walking trail as it went along the coast, passing through numerous old railway tunnels. It is unreal and a must do for any visit to Levanto. It is well lit and has a walking path as well as a two way cycling track. It's flat and anyone could do part or all of it. Go for it!

My husband loves bike riding and I hate it but...... We had a group of 8 and hired bikes and rode through the tunnels through to Framura. It was a quiet tourist season and was great to see the beautiful scenery without the crowds. Best day!!

Be sure to get a bicycle and try this bike/walking trail along the sea. It's a converted railroad bed that goes through tunnels to stunning views of the Mediterranean to the next towns north of Levanto.

It is a nice trail from Levanto through Bonasolla to Framura. In parts where you are not biking through tunnel, there is nice view of coast. There is not much to do or see in Framura. Even Bonasolla was pretty dead when we visited (Wednesday afternoon). Whole trail is very easy even for small children. Normally you will pas it in 20 minutes (one way).

Nice and flat as old railway line (railway now to north of town)Bike hire cheap but weren't well maintained.Long old tunnel but welcome on a hot day.Cafe at Framura old harbour nice, cheap and friendly.Easy way to get Levanto to Bonasola - charming small town with the world's most amazing bakery - in a back street but don't know its name. Bakery was generally very good in this area so this particular bakery had a lot of competition and still came out way on top! Happened to catch the market at Bonasola which was good.

We walked these tunnels as far as Bonnasola on a grey windy day. The surf was dramatic and made for great photos. We enjoyed the quiet little town and our picnic lunch of fresh focaccia on the square. The church was one of the best surprises of our visit - plain on the outside but contains spectacular art inside. Well worth a look in. Try the tunnels by bike - they are flat and even.

This was a blast! The abandoned train tunnels have been converted to biking/walking trails. Level and smooth with openings to the beautiful beaches. Cool, even in summer, so bring a sweater. At the end is a funky little café in a boat and diving area. We had a beautiful fresh salad and enjoyed the view. About 6 miles round trip, easy peasy!
