I visited the museum on a Saturday, I was the only visitor but it may well have been because it was an amazing sunny day. The entrance fee is €1,50, there is no audioguide but there is a thin leaflet with some sort of explanation which I did not purchase. There are lot of beautiful polena (figureheads) but the part that most impressed me is the area dedicated to encryption. From enigma to the first attempts of encryptions going back to the

We visited the Museum on a "rainy" day - glad we did - very interesting ! Our Hotel gave us "free" tickets - well worth the visit - rain or not!!

Walked to this museum expecting more. Small, not much to see, disappointing. We were finished within a very short time.

Located near the mason port, the museum is worth a quick look if you enjoy naval history and is only 1.55 Euros. It had a good section on the history of Italian torpedo developments ( both in Italian and English). Otherwise a couple small WWII exhibits and a bunch of miscellaneous lighthouse and weaponry pieces.

The La Spezia's naval museum is a treasure trove of nautical history, focusing on the artifacts of Italy's navy, but also including maritime artifacts from around the world. They feature an impressive collection of historic figureheads, ship modes, lighthouse lenses, canons, torpedoes, and more!

We were walking along a lovely ocean front promenade when we learned of the Naval Museum from the Information Center. It was just 2 blocks from the end of the promenade on Via Chiodo. The Museum has an amazing collection of ship figureheads as well a collection of scale models showing the development of sailing vessels. There are more current objects, even a WWI two man submarine. There was an extensive collection of guns from early muskets to antiaircraft guns. Unfortunately none of the signage was in English. Nevertheless, we spent a very entertaining 2 hours.

La struttura non è ben tenuta ed inoltre è poco reclamizzato ha un aspetto vecchieggiante ,invece a me è piaciuto molto poter vedere quelle cose che ne conoscevo l'esistenza dai film in televisione (tipo i palombari) Ma perché non riusciamo mai a valorizzare quello che abbiamo?

Museo de la marina italiana muy interesante de visitar . Ver el mini submarino que se ataco en la War World II a la flota inglesa en Alejandria ,como ver los primeros trajes de buceo.

il museo è molto bello sottovalutato sia dalla città che dall'ente turistico. Il prezzo del biglietto è troppo basso per mantenere al meglio la struttura. E' poco pubblicizzato, ma si sa in Italia non valorizziamo mai ciò che di bello abbiamo e La Spezia non fa eccezione.

Molto suggestivo. All'interno sono presenti cimeli della storia più eroica italiana come i famosi "maiali" utilizzati dagli incursori italiani durante la seconda guerra mondialeVisitato a Dicembre 2013
