This museum is quite modern and uses multimedia solutions and original interior design to tell the peculiarities of the region to its visitors.It's not too big and mostly focuses on local rural life of the last centuryDresses and earrings collections are among everyone's favourite.I would like more urban life to be included in the exposition

This is a nice way to spend an hour or so while in Pescara. admission also gets you a free audio guide, and I recommend taking it. you will learn about the region and it's people, and their history.

Very charming atmosphere to discover past times. It's like travelling in old times. It worths a visit.

You can find various artifacts of early settlers and some reconstructions of what life was like in Abruzzo until a few decades ago. Unless you have something better to do, I would skip this one.

This is nice to visit as you have all the history of the people of Abruzzo.You are offered a narration device but it does not give you the correct description of the rooms. I preferred to read the information on each display.

Conosco il Museo Genti d'Abruzzo da diverso tempo. Ho un'ottima impressione in proposito alla sua importanza per la storia della nostra regione soprattutto. Penso che chi viene a visitare la nostra città debba fare una visita in questo luogo. E' un "biglietto da visita" che permette di conoscere la storia della nostra regione e le tradizioni che l'hanno arricchita fino ad oggi. Nel Museo si snoda un percorso che parte dalla nostra Preistoria, evidenziando come l'uomo si rapportava con la natura e con il divino, per mostrare la nostra economia, fondata sulla pastorizia e l'agricoltura e l'artigianato fino a approfondire le nostre tradizioni e come si svolgeva una giornata nel suo quotidiano fino agli anni '50.
