The park is rather small, offering small yet colorful birds feeding which my kids highly enjoyed, birds exhibition and a central 15 min show of birds of prey like various eagles etc.In addition to the birds there is a small yard with 4 or 5 kangaroos, which is another nice attraction for kids.The way the eagles hover closely above the crowd in the show is impressive, but the show itself is in the German language, so tourists will sadly miss most of the info shared during the show. No English printed material is provided as an alternative to the spoken explanations.Note that although the site is open and has no stairs in the paths, they are covered with brown gravel, making the mobility a bit difficult for strollers or wheelchairs. There weather there is pretty hot in the summer, especially in the show arena that has no shading or rooftop. To sum it up, it could be a nice 3 hours attraction for families, but not more. It can't be regarded as a major attraction in the black forest. The distance from other more central attractions, which are located about one hour drive north, lowers its attractiveness.

It used to be a bird park with many birds and breeding succes of rare bird. Since the owner changed it run down. He tried to make it more a fun park and didn't concentrate on the animals. Half of the property is sold. The exhibition house you can visit used to be a tropical house, representing exotic animals, now there are only drawings and dead stuffed animals left. In the whole park are not as many animals left as there used to be. The only attraction is the bird show with birds of prey flying over the heads of the visiotors. I do NOT recommend this park. The entry fee is higher than in a normal zoo, where you can see 5 times as many birds species in bigger cages.

Visited with our 2 little girls.They enjoyed watching the birds show and feeding the monkeys, and we had a good time walking in the park and see the other animals.Like said in other reviews, it would be great if they had an option of English explanations, however it didn't hurt our enjoyment much.

Park with birds and monkeys medium size. The main highlight is the bird show and the monkys feeding. The children love it in all ages. Note the show hour in advance and plan your visit accordingly. Pity that no English was spoken during the show or providing audioguide.

A little monkey bite the finger of my 1.5 old baby girl!!we were walking besaid of the many cages that were there, and suddenly my little one, run becuase she saw little monkeys in a cage. then she grab the cage, and the monkey bite her finger and wont let her go. i've needed to take her finger from the monkeys mouth. Shocking.The workers told us that there are signboards that tell you not to put your fingers insaid. but babys can't read. why next to the parrots cage there is a protective plastic, so childrens can't hurt them selfs. the manager of the park didn't take the Responsibility for the case and didn't pay for the many shuts that the private doctor give our baby. Be Carefull to go there. there is no warranty that you will come back in one piece.

We came on Monday and we were practically the only people in the park which was fun as we had our own bird show and monkey feeding The 2 problems are 1. Very expensive. 40 euro for 2 adults and 1 child2. Almost no explanations in English

If you like birds, it's an excellent show, which is precented in Vogelpark Steinen. You can visit it easely from Basle on a tour through the Schwarzwald. A beatifull country side.

45 Euro we've paid for 2 adults and 2 kids to see few birds, fondle some parrots and see a show in which few repotorial birds are flying above us. The last one was the most interesting part, but it was accompanied with a German explanation which we didn't understand and he kept on throwing the birds from him to make them fly away and back. We passed the monkey exhibition and went away after a noodle soup there.

Die Bewertung für den Vogelpark fällt schwer: einerseits ist die Greifvogelschau wirklich außergewöhnlich und vermittelt viel Wissen. Auf der anderen Seite ist der Eintritt völlig überteuert. Für 16 Euro darf man etwas mehr erwarten als ein paar Greifvögel und Affen sowie ein paar Pfauen und Ziegen. Die Kängerus haben wir bei unserem Besuch nicht gesehen. Die Greifvogelshow (2x täglich) ist dennoch sehenswert, die Falkner haben viel zu berichten. Die Berberaffenfütterung ist nichts besonderes. Kinder haben aber daran ihren Spaß. Der Park ist in die Jahre gekommen. Alles in allem wird einem das Geld aus den Taschen gezogen. Das Futter kostet extra, einen Greifvogel tragen und fliegen lassen würde 150 Euro pro Person kosten. Der Grillplatz ist zwar eine nette Idee, aber man müsste natürlich alle Lebensmittel mit in den Park nehmen und durch den Rundpark schleppen. Wer möchte das? Der Park ist für Familien angelegt, aber nicht Kinderwagen tauglich. Auch der Kiosk ist sehr teuer, dafür ist das Parken gratis. Alles in allem ist der Park für ein normaler Familienausflug fast nicht bezahlbar.

Alleen al de reis er naar toe is de moeite waard schitterende omgeving.je kunt vrij rondlopen in het park en ook het voederen van de dieren meemaken, vooral de aapjes. Ze zijn heel tam. Ook is er een show van vogels, bv arenden, uilen en gieren.
