We bought a ticket to this palace as an add on to the main tour but it can be visited in its own right. Admission is 3.50 euros and the palace is situated just north of the main residential palace in its own park. The palace is small and was not intended as somewhere to live but rather as an escape by Duke Eugene's from the stuffy court of the main palace and somewhere for the Duke to have fun.The main reception on the ground floor looks like a dodgy 1980's nightclub and is completely out of keeping with the architectural style of the Baroque palace. We later learned that it is used to record a popular talk show Nachtcafe, which is why it looks so odd. We were met by a mature German guide who spoke charming English and was more than willing to give us a personalised tour of the palace which consisted of 5 main rooms on the first floor. Her knowledge was fantastic and she was able to answer our questions with enthusiasm. We probably spent around 45 minutes in her company.The rooms have been restored and are beautiful and cute. Well worth the visit if you are lucky enough to get an impromptu tour.

Timimgs of tours make this a difficult place to visit. There are no facilities at all, and most people there had brought their own picnic and were sitting on the grass.

nos gustó mucho el sitio, un largo camino con mucho parque alrededor, bancos donde sentarse a tomar un refresco y simplemente contemplar el schloss con su parque. Muy bueno para descansar un rato luego de varias jornadas agotadoras.

Türmchen, Terrassen, eine schwingende Freitreppe, alles in warmem Gelb, umgeben von majestätischen Bäumen: So sieht man das Jagd- und Lustschlösschen vom Schloss Ludwigsburg aus. Nach einem kurzen Spaziergang ist man auch schon mitten im Park der Herzöge und Könige, denn das Schlösschen liegt vis a vis zum Residenzschloss Ludwigsburg. Der Park ist das älteste Naturschutzgebiet Baden-Württembergs, in dem man heute Füchse, Marder, Hasen, Fasane und viele Vogelarten antrifft. Im Park wird Damwild, Axiswild und Muffelwild gehegt. Die ältesten Fichten sind über 200 Jahre alt. Durch den Park führt eine gerade Allee über 2,5 km vom Schloss Favorite zum Seeschloss Monrepos. Viele kennen Schloss Favorite, ohne es jemals gesehen zu haben: Es war jede Woche der Schauplatz eines absoluten Klassikers des SWR-Fernsehens. Hier wurde jahrelang das „Nachtcafé“ gedreht, die beliebte Talkshow mit Wieland Backes.

Questo piccolo castello, edificato poche centinaia di metri dietro la residenza ufficiale (il Residenzschloss) dei reali del Württemberg a Ludwigsburg, fu edificato col preciso scopo di rilassarsi e di uscire dalle rigide regole del protocollo di corte. Esso veniva frequentato infatti in abiti informali per godere del giardino lussureggiante, della musica o di passatempi e giochi o vi venivano organizzate feste: il castello non presenta camere da letto poiché era usato come luogo di riposo e svago. Cionondimeno la sua visita è molto godibile: attorno alla stanza principale in stile neoclassico sorgono sei stanze molto belle e curate, ciascuna con una propria identità e un proprio scopo: ad esempio c'è la stanza degli uomini con tavoli da gioco e decorazioni con motivi di caccia oppure la stanza "italiana" decorata con affreschi murali in stile Pompei. La visita dura mezzora ed è solo in tedesco (le brochures fornite sono solo in inglese, francese e russo). Il biglietto costa davvero poco, solo 3,50 €, e il castello resta aperto fino alle 17.

Forse i lord di Stoccarda del tempo, oltre allo Schloss solitude amavano rintanarsi di tanto in tano in piccole strutture isolate, ma questa al contrario, isolata ma vicina alla grande residenza del castello di Ludwigsburg. Fungeva forse da ufficio privato. Situato immediatamente alle spalle della grande residenza (e visibile da essa), anch'essa come il "solitude" è inserita in un bellissimo ed enorme parco, un'area ciclopedonale molto grande. All'interno poche stanze non molto ampie, si presta anche per party privati al piano terra (si fa di tutto per fare cassa). La visita è breve e sintetica (20 min circa), piu che altro si gode della buona posizione turistica e della presenza di un bellissimo parco con tanto di cerbiatti liberi di gironzolare e che di tanto in tanto fanno comparsa vicino alle aree pedonali delle persone. Chi ha la fortuna (come me) di fare un tale incontro rimarrà con un ricordo dello Schloss favourite ancora piu belllo.Parere finale: consigliato!

Das Schloß ist nur von außen zu besichtigen. Es liegt in einem Wildpark, in dem Rotwild frei läuft. Mit etwas Glück kommen die Tiere bis auf wenige Meter nah und lassen sich fotografieren. Der Parkeingang ist nur knapp 10 Gehminuten vom Stadtzentrum entfernt.

Das Schloß Favorite ist ein kleines schmuckes Schloß, eigentlich das Lustschloß zum großen Residenzschloß in Ludwigsburg. Die Innenräume mit Originalböden und Möbeln (Fotografierverbot) lassen sich nur im Rahmen von einer Führung besichtigen, die halbstündlich angeboten wird.Das Schloß ist vielen bekannter, weil es Drehort der langjährigen deutschen Fernsehsendung "Nachtcafe" ist.Es liegt mitten in einem großen Parkgelände, der Zutritt mit Hunden ist verboten, weil sich im Park freilaufendes Dam-und Muffelwild befindet.Mit etwas Glück kann man diese dabei beobachten, wie sie die Wege kreuzen.Der Park ist sehr schön zum Spazieren, oder auch um nur auf den Grasflächen hinter dem Schloß zu relaxen, was auch zahlreich angenommen wird.Geöffnet ist das Schloß bis 17h, der Parkeintritt selbst ist frei.
