A decent game and good atmosphere despite not being full (around 37000). Fairly basic stadia in German terms with the usual drinks, bratwurst and snacks being available to eat in your seat

Went to see Limosol in the Europa League, the Germans do atmosphere and theatre all in one to make football a bit special, BM are a good side, go and see them, it's a great stadium, worth going. Get the free bus from behind the railway station in Monchengladbach

Since 2004 the home of football club Borussia Monchengladbach, who are currently getting famous again throughout Europe due to their EuroLeague matches - always accompanied by numerous supporters on away matches. You will get to see Bundesliga football at it's best or at it's worst. Depends on the form of the players. ;)Usually the stadium is almost sold out or at least full to 90%. Atmosphere varies from decent to impressive.I love it here!PRO:- football & beer (come on, guys! what do you want more?)- historyCONS:avoid the french fries!!!

Home of Borussia Monchengladbach. Excellent venue with great atmosphere where you can enjoy watching football. Exterior is decorated with pictures of Borussia legends who were giving really tough time to Bayern Munich. Can't wait to watch new games there...

For the second time I had the privilege to come to this German football mecca and it was even better than my expectations. A really nice and sold out stadium, a warm September evening, a perfectly green natural grass pitch and a wonderful game with lots of goals and chances as well as happy cheering friendly supporters. It could not be better. Compliments for the excellent infrastructure around the game, especially the rapid bus transfers from downtown to the stadium as well as back. Having the transfer tickets included in the game tickets is more than wise, other countries should see and learn! The only negative thing here is that the city of Mönchengladbach itself is not really anything to remember but tgat does not matter, its' genuine football tradition is good enough.

Home of Borussia Monchengladbach. I've been a fan now for several years since living nearby from 2003-07. I've been to many home games with my son and experienced the amazing atmosphere in the awesome 55000 capacity stadium and it's always full. My most recent visit was against Werder Bremen in March, the result was 1-1. You can book and buy on their website, just log in as a guest, you don't need to register and they post your tickets to the UK for free. I've sat in different sections and it's always amazing with the pre-match build up and entertainment, the half-time fan games and they get the kids on the big TV. Everyone stands and claps along to the pre-match song. The North end is for home fans only and is all standing where they wave massive flags and basically go mad, it looks great from above. The staunch away fans are all rammed into the opposite corner but every time I go there's away fans mixed in with us and I've never seen any trouble and they sell beer in the stadium, I think the UK is ready for this now. It's good value with adults at 27 euros and kids only 7 euros but my son has reached adult price now.

I got to see a home match of Borussia Monchengladbach while I was in Germany... A storied football club with a long history. Talk about cheering!!! My 1st European football match was amazing. The crowd , rowdy, but fun. The stadium is fairly new and beautiful. But it is a bit outside the city . We boarded one of the endless buses leaving from to go to the stadium from Monchengladbachs Train station. It was about a ten minute ride and we only had to wait a few minutes to get on a bus. The bus was filled with beer drinking fans chanting and singing. The whole experience was great and also different from the fact that visiting clubs fans a seperated into their own small area. If you are American and have chance to see them or any Euro football club , just go and experience it for yourself.

Borussia Moenchengladbach has been my team for decades as I discovered them as a high school student back in the 1970s in my home town of Philadlephia. A recent trip to Germany allowed my wife and I to see "my" team live again. Borussia Park is a very modern stadium with a capacity of about 50,000. There is a team shop outside the stadium with a club bar (we did not visit the bar) called Borussia**. Concessions are basic but good, the usual beer and soda and brats and fish sandwiches, and were not overly expensive. The game program is free--but you might have to search for it (we did not find them until after the game). There are two large video boards at opposite corners. The North Curve is the fan area and is a standing area. You cannot enter if you are wearing colors of the other team for safety purposes. Tickets may be obtained in advance on line--they even sent them to my address in North America at a nominal charge. The ticket site has an English version and you get to choose your seats. Parking around the stadium ($) is good and access is directly off the Autobahn. Public transportation is also available with shuttles from the main train station a few miles away, as the stadium is on the outskirts of town (surrounded by an industrial park and farms, actually). Your game ticket includes access to public transportation. Bathrooms were as clean as could be expected for a major stadium.
