The only thing I really didn't like about this park was the fact that the birds of prey are chained to poles and can't fly. Other than that all the other animals have very large enclosures. Also no big cats.

When the weather is nice this is a great place to spend a few hours. Even our teenage daughters really enjoy Wilpark Gangelt. Come early though, because on nice days it can get busy.

I loved it. It's clean and quiet, animals are kept in spacious enclosures, not in some sort of depressing cage. Mostly local species are included - deers, wolfs, bears, wild cats etc. There is also a section where you can pet a goat, or a chicken. Just be careful with bought animal food - goats get pretty cheeky and can easily scare a child. Adult free smth. around 6.50 euro. Worth it.P.S. I loved, loved, loved! the otters.

Fun for everyone, including your dog (be sure to keep him on a leash). There is a nice little restaurant but there is also a big playground and picnic tables available. The petting zoo area is great for the tykes. It looks a little rundown in some areas but we consider it "lived in."

The wild park is part of a forest located right by the Dutch/German border. It is open daily featuring many different local species of wild animals, including wild boars, bears, various deer/elk, wild cats, ferrets, goats and so much more. Enjoy the petting zoo and wonderful kids playground area. In the birds of prey section, you can view many majestic birds. A demonstration is put on by experts daily. We love the park so much, it only made sense to purchase the annual family pass for 50 Euro, which covers two adults and up to five children. One recommendation: bring your own food and use one of the many benches in the park to enjoy a picnic. We were not impressed by the restaurant on the premises, which is independent from the park. The food and drinks took way too long. It should not take 30 min for a waitress who took our order to tell us that they are out of hot dogs and a beer does not take 40 minutes either. They first insisted on getting paid for food and beverages not delivered after almost an hour and were extremely rude. Note: I am bilingual, so there was no language barrier.

Heel leuk wildpark. Er staan veel dieren en voor kinderen ook nog een leuke speeltuin. Entree en horeca zijn goed geprijsd. Oud Nederlandse prijzen als je het mij vraagt. Een aanrader om gezellig met het gezin naar toe te gaan.

Mooi wildpark op de grens met Nederland , vriendelijk personeel. een bosrijke omgeving , ook interessant voor de kinderen.

Leuk park om al wandelend wilde dieren te kijken. Jammer dat er altijd wel een aantal dieren afwezig zijn. De zwijn en en Beren maken dit allemaal weer goed. Ook leuk is om voor een euro voer te kopen en de beesten eten te geven. Park is mooi aangelegd, maar kan op een aantal punten wat onderhoud gebruiken. (waren er wel aan het einde van het seizoen). Aanrader om even een middag te ontspannen.

Het Wildpark in Gangelt is prima te bereiken en je kunt er gratis parkeren. De toegang is niet duur, ook een jaarkaart is prima te doen. De dieren hebben echt heel veel ruimte en je kunt ze goed zien. Alles is in een bos gelegen en daarom op warme zomerdagen ook lekker koel. De vogelshow is ook erg leuk. Het restaurant is rustiek, lekkere typisch Duitse gerechten!

De ligging is geweldig en het aantal dieren is behoorlijk. Een must om met je kinderen naar toe te gaan. Ze hebben ook veel plezier in de speeltuin. heerlijk in het bos de herten voeren. Ook voor ons volwassenen, heerlijk op adem komen.
