via a safe but narrow winding road throught the woods and herbs we arrive at Achata Beach. A pebble beach were it is very comfotable to sit and swim. For lunch you can go to the only taverna which offers you tastefull but simple meals and drinks. Sunbeds and parasols are available for euro 7,50 which is a normal price per day or per use. Achata is an excellent place for snorkeling or just sheltered swimming.

A small road leads till this amazing beach. Between the cliffs is the blue sea, it is a pebble beach. You will find beach umbrella to rent and a small restaurant where you can eat some good Greek food and drink a glass of retsina or a cold bear.

One of the best beaches on the island of Karpathos. Try to start your day early and catch one of the available sun umbrellas because it becomes really hot during the day! It is popular but not crowded.

Like other similar beaches on Karpathos, Achata is just as stunning. It has everything you need: awesome sea, natural shade by the rocks, enough parking space... In late September it's great because you're almost alone at this beach.

Definitely one of the beautiful and interesting beaches in Karpathos.Only 20 minutes from the Pigadia city center, With lawn-chairs (extra charge) and shaded areas. The crystal clear water, very deep and clean and quiet and relaxing atmosphere.On both sides of the beach, on the mountain slopes, there are caves and tunnels, where you can dive.There is also a small tavern.Recommended for couples and families with children.

This was one of our favourite beaches in Karpathos, the scenery on the decent to this beautiful bay is just breath taking. Crystal clear water greets the visitor and shelters you from the wind I would definitely recommend it.

During our stay we went around the whole island and this was probably the best beach we could find. The location with the cliffs on both sides of the beach keeps the sometimes annoying wind away. The stony beach results in a clear water that offers swimming, snorkeling, and diving. And least but very important, the taverna on the beach serves Kalamari, Greek salad, and other tasty dishes with a smile!

This is definitely one of the most beautiful beaches of Karpathos, close to Pigadia as well (That is why it can be crowded some days). A miniature of Kira Panagia Beach. It is an awesome sea bay with steep slopes at the sides, but the day i visited it, it was very windy. I wish i had one more day to visit it at a calm day! The water is the definition of blue! Even we didn't swim, we spend some time at a beach bar, which is at the side, and we enjoyed the view with some frappe coffee. Beach sunbeds where here available too.

A maby to crowded beach, but still beautiful. The water is excellent, clear azure blue good for snorkeling. Best before noon.

Definitely the best beach in Karpathos!! Amazing clear blue sea, quiet beach surrounded by rocks. I just wish I were there just now! :)
