Agios Minas beach is a lovely place, and you're quite likely to find fewer people on this beach than in other spots of Karpathos. This said, the Meltemi wind blows very fast (20/25 knots with sudden gales) and the road is a narrow, dirt road with scarce lay-bys. There are actually two roads leading to the beach: here we refer to the first one coming from Diafani. We didn't try the other one. For this road, you don't need a 4wd (as some suggest) but you need to be very careful all the way, drive slow, take into account the strong wind, and beware of cars coming from the opposite direction. Do not trust the road sign (it's actually more like 4km, and not 2km).

One of the most natural beaches I have ever seen but... no shade and very windy. We found it hard to stay there. The way there is for adventures only...

This is a very nice beach with beautiful black pebbles. Next 2 restaurants you can get ice cream, coffee or eat! Worth to go over to the church of St. Mina has very nice views. Because of inaccessibility is not too busy for this reason has very clear water!! Agios minas ist ein strand wo mann privat kann sein. Es ist nicht einfach zu erreichen. mann braught ein jeep. Mann wird belohnt mit ein privat strand. wunderschön

No ragazzi non ci siamo, le spiagge di Karpathos sono tutta un altra cosa! Certo lo scenario e' sempre da paura, ma non vale la pena fare tutto quello sterrato per arrivare poi ad una spiaggia piena di sassi piatti! Il mare li' e' frizzantino, ma non ha i colori che ti riempiono gli occhi di felicita'!

Non fatevi ingannare dalle indicazioni del cartello ..2 KM..no no..almeno 6 di sterrato con vari saliscendi..attenzione con gli scooter. Ancora meglio la spiaggia a nord NATI... praticamente un paradiso di tranquillità. Al max siamo arrivati ad essere in 6 su tutta la spiaggia...un sogno. Ma ricordatevi che non c'è nulla..quindi portate da bere .

La strada x arrivarci diciamo che non è per chi soffre di vertigini... ma non è impossibile, ci si arriva. E' un po distante, ma se la unite ad una gita a Olimbus, la mattina vi fate il paesello in montagna che merita, e al pomeriggio vi fermate qui. 2 possibilità quando arrivate in fondo: dx o sx. Sx senza servizi, dx con taverna che non abbiamo provato ma ci hanno detto che non era male. Spiaggia tutta di quei sassi piatti grigi con striature bianche, quelli che si usano per fare i salti sull'acqua... ecco, qui si potrebbero fare i mondiali di salti sull'acqua. Alle vs spalle qualche pianta per avere un po' d'ombra.

Spiaggia sconfinata fatta di ciottoli grigi e piatti. Si raggiunge su strada sterrata di circa 2 km.non è attrezzata e non ci sono servizi nè taverne. Però la tranquillità è impagabile.....

Helemaal verscholen. Je moet om er te komen beschikken over een terreinwagen! Werkelijk een fantastische snorkellocatie. Gezien de afgelegen ligging heb je het strand regelmatig voor jou alleen.

Tra le numerose spiagge e calette visitate a Karpathos, Agios Minas è quella che più ci è rimasta nel cuore. Dopo una strada sterrata lunga e tortuosa (con la jeep non abbiamo avuto problemi a percorrerla) si arriva in una caletta di piccoli sassi senza ombrelloni e lettini e quasi deserta: l'ultima settimana di agosto eravamo in 6 sulla spiaggia. L'acqua è limpidissima e ideale per fare snorkelling.
