amazing landscape with sund dunes!do not go when the sun is up otherwise you will burn your feet! try to plummet in the sand.....

Another surprise in LImnos. For those trying to find it don't turn into the village as the streets are really narrow and it is an unnecessary diversion. The track is pretty sound, we left our car near the village and walked but we needn't have.

It is one of the places that make me think how lucky I am to live in Greece and wonder why places like this aren't widely known.You will find yourself, in the middle of a wonderful and rare, geological phenomenon! In 10 min.driving time , you will splash in the beach.Perfect combination!

A nice drive ending at the only desert in Europe, the sand dunes are a beautiful sight and well worth a visit. Take water with you as there are no facilities at the site.

Maybe not the sahara desert, but definately a surprise. I'm Greek, but I've never seen something similar within any Greek places. Interesting landscapes in the route to there.

A lot of soft and fine sand. A lot of it Very interesting how in this environment you can find rich trees and flowers. The road towards the dunes is unpaved but very accessible. It really deserves a visit if you reach this island. From my point of view the most interesting attraction.

Ένα από τα βασικά σημεία που πρέπει να επισκεφτείς πηγαίνοντας στη Λήμνο. Παρόλο που στο μέρος αυτό η άμμος δεν έχει λόγο ύπαρξης με ένα μοναδικό τρόπο σχηματίζονται αμμόλοφοι δίνοντας σου την αίσθηση πως βρίσκεσαι οπουδήποτε αλλού παρά σε νησί. Καταπληκτικό τοπίο και κάτι που εκ των πραγμάτων δεν έχουμε ξαναδεί! Θα είναι εγγυημένα,μια συγκλονιστική εμπειρία για εσάς. Μόνο προμηθευτείτε άφθονο νερό.

Τοπίο πέρα από τα συνηθισμένα...Ωραίο, διαφορετικό, με μία αίσθηση ότι βρίσκεσαι στην έρημο.Αξίζει τον κόπο η επίσκεψη στις Αμμοθίνες! Ιδανικά είτε πρωινές είτε απογευματινές ώρες.
