Theatre had its beginnings 300 years ago & 100 years ago a theatre stood on the site of the current one.The style is very grand & detailed.I have not seen the interior of this theatre as it was closed.Opposite is a sculpture of a woman with a lyre.

The Stadttheater Baden, housed (during the normal season) in a small opera house, specializes in operetta - and they are nearly perfect in it. During the summer season in the Arena in the park, also very nice. Can't say anything about musical and theatre (there I frankly have my doubts), but operetta cannot be bettered.

mainly this theatre was meant to entertain tourists or health seeking People from the Spa Centers, but over the years got and deserved the Reputation of a stage to be compared with any of the big cities. Very much enjoyed my visit there

バーデンはウィーン郊外にある保養地として有名ですが、夏の時期は、通常の劇場とは別に公園内にある野外劇場を使ってオペレッタの公演があります。この3年連続して来ていますが、毎回2本ずつオペレッタを見ています。メルビッシュのオペレッタに行く人もいるかと思いますが、こちらの方が古き良きウィーンの雰囲気を再現していると思います。インターネットで簡単にチケットを予約することができます。非常にレベルの高いオペレッタを安い値段で見ることができますので、ぜひ一度訪れてみてください。

ein entzückendes kleines Stadttheater in mitten der Fußgängerzone, im Sommer gibt es die Sommerarena in Mitten des Kurparkes, einen Besuch wert, das ist übrigens das Bild von der Sommerarena :-) hat immer sehr gute Aufführungen und ist immer sehr gut besucht !!

Ich besuche das Stadttheater und die Sommerarena in Baden immer wieder. Wenn man das vergleichsweise geringe Budget betrachtet, gelingen hier immer wieder erstklassige Aufführungen, z. B. die Gräfin Mariza in der Sommerarena 2012 ist sehr zu empfehlen. Aber es gab auch schon viele andere Vorstellungen, die Vergleiche mit anderen Häusern nicht zu scheuen brauchen.

Besonders in den Sommermonaten ist die Sommerbühne mit ihren Aufführungen zu empfehlen und naschließend zu einem der vielen Heurigen.
