A trip to the Zoo is a must if you get the chance to enjoy the lovely weather. It is quite interesting, especially with its variety of birds and reptiles. I found the macaws particularly beautiful and interesting and the colorful frogs and some animals similar to monkeys, but pretty strange. I liked that they really tried to create a decent environment for the animals - for instance, it was really warm where some reptiles lived. Most of the animals seemed to live in nice conditions, except for some species of tortoise, which was really big and, unfortunately, had a small place to live in.I enjoyed seeing the lemurs, and the red panda, and the kangaroo. You will also find some spiders there. But I didn't like that some animals were missing, although nothing was mentioned. There were some missing and there was a sign on the cage, but not on all of them. It would be nice to see a lion there, too.

It's a cosy small zoo with a nice familiar atmosphere. Don't expect too much of big exotic animals though! But it's obvious that the animals live a good, relaxing life without too much stress! It's a nice walk through the park and there is a great view over Linz! It's reachable with the Pöstlingbergbahn and can be combined with a visit to the Pöstlingberg! Absolutely recommended!

It's a nice small zoo but we expected more carnivorous animals. Salzburg zoo is much much better than this zoo.

Der Tiergarten Linz ist vor allem auf Grund der Lage am Pöstlingberg einen Besuch wert. Die Anlage an sich ist leider sehr klein und wirkt etwas "heruntergekommen". Für einen kurzen Besuch mit den Kindern ist der Tiergarten jedoch zu empfehlen, da das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis absolut stimmig ist und in ca. 1,5 Stunden ist man auch schon wieder durch. Außer die Erdmännchen gibt es leider keine großen Highlights.

Sicher kein Vergleich zu wirkliche Zoos wie in Wien oder München, aber für die ansässigen Menschen mit Kindern ein netter Ausflug. Bemerkenswert, dass die Stadt Linz nur ein so minmales Budget zur Verügung stellt, obwohl es mehr Beaucher gibt als im LENTOS oder ARS ELECTRONIC CENTER.

Зоопарк сам по себе небольшой, но очень красивый и аккуратный. Зверюшек мало, так сказать основной набор. Ручные козочки и барашки, веселые попугаи и кенгурушки. Все звери содержатся в просторных вольерах. Есть террариум (маленький) и что-то типа музея естественной истории, там содержат мышек, паучков и кузнечиков, и есть комната с экспонатами типа "у кого какие яйца, череп, ноги" )))В общем очень положительные эмоции после посещения зоопарка. Место для семейных прогулок очень подходящее. И мама отдыхает и детё занято)))

Nicht Fisch nicht Fleisch....man vermisst die wirklichen Attraktionen eines Tiergartens, warum man eigentlich dorthin geht! Die meisten fehlen im Linzer Tierpark! Jedoch stimmt das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis....kleiner Eintritt und in etwa 2 Stunden ist man durch! Das Voglhaus ist sehenswert....alles in allem, ein Besuch erfreut die *kleine* Geldbörse, bei anderen bezahlt man oft das 3 fache an Eintritt! Für Kinder ist dieser Tiergarten trotzdem ein Erlebnis!!!

aber dieser besonders. die stimmung in diesem tiergarten war wie das wetter. grau. trostlos. war nur die frage, wer wen mehr bedauerte, die drinnen die draussen, oder die draussen die drinnen.
