The Schloss is now used by the police but the courtyard is lovely and one can wander around and cross the moat to the Park. The views are superb and we were glad we climbed up to view the rivers and the town. The Schlossgalerie was closed by the time we got there

the main sight of steyr, a beautiful old castle that has been lovingly restored. in the courtyard there are famous statues of little men with traditional costumes and jobs. they also keep alpine ibexes (capricorns?) at the castle and you can see them chilling in the sun or jumping around. in the summer they always have theater and musical festivals at the castle.when you walk down from the castle you get a beautiful view of the 2 rivers crossing and the michaela church.

Das Barockschloss liegt in der Industriestadt Steyr und zeugt vom historischen Geschäftssinn der Oberösterreicher. In der Weihnachtszeit beherbergt das Schloss einen grossen Weihnachtsmarkt mit handgefertigten Kunstgegenständen. Im Schlossgraben leben Steinböcke. Das Schloss ist gut erhalten und dient verschiedenen Behörden als Unterkunft.

Abbiamo visitato schloss lamber a dicembre, pertanto vi erano allestite all'interno bancarelle di prodotti artigianali in occasione del natale. Carino. Interessanti le bancarelle lungo la Promenade strasse che conduce al castello, molto curate in particolare belle quelle che mostrano i lavori artigianali della lavorazione del legno e del vimini.

Hallo!Schön an zu sehen, und Kinder werden sich über die Steinböcke im Burggraben freuen.Wer noch ein schönes Standesamt sucht Istrien richtig, allerdings lange vorbuchen.

Dieses Barockschloss dominiert den Zusammenfluß beider Flüsse und gibt einen malerischen Rahmen für die Stadt Steyr. Hier kann man (standesamtlich) heiraten, im Sommer Musicals besuchen oder einfach durchspazieren. Im Burggraben sind Steinböcke zu entdecken.
