My husband and I walked into Zephyros Adventure Sports in Paphos looking to do either a trek or mountain bike ride at very short notice. It's mid winter and the weather hasn't been good. We were overwhelmed at the great service we received, not only did Lee give us some great ideas about some walks we could do, he offered to loan us his guide book whilst organising a time for us to do a bike ride with him 2 days later. We were picked up at 8.30am and driven to the start of the ride up on the ridge on the Akamas Peninsula. Great bikes, gloves, helmets and rain gear were supplied as well as a yummy packed lunch and water. We set off and had the most fantastic ride, approx. 30kms, views were breathtaking! Lee’s knowledge of local geography, plant and animal life was also very impressive.Lee and Lucy are great professionals. Their approach to health and safety is first rate and they are a friendly and very helpful couple. We would strongly recommend Zephyros Adventure Sports to anyone wanting have a great outdoors experience in Cyprus. At only 59 Euros each it was great value for a full day outing.

Hi, We were in Cyprus in June and had the fortune of booking a Kayak tour with Zephyros Adventure Sports. The tour was amazing the guide was interesting and fun. The scenery was breathtaking. It was a fantastic experience, and one I would happily do again.

Booked a mornings sea kayaking trip - delayed by a day by poor weather previous day, but we'll worth waiting for.Lucy, our guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly.As an experienced sea kayaker it was good to see a company taking safety seriously.I would highly recommend this activity.

Took a morning sea kayaking in a family group of 7 (eldest 42, youngest 13) and all had an absolute blast. The skills training is good and practical, the safety information is good and the actual kayaking was outstanding. This is a great way to see the coastline off Paphos and get into some of the caves. We got to do some jumping off rocks and Bob and Dee were both great and really knew a lot about the local area so you get a geology lesson thrown in! You need to be in reasonable physical shape as you are kayaking for a couple of hours, but it isn't too intense and we all coped fine. Something I would definitely consider doing again and good value for money.

Fantastic tour with fantastic instructor. After a short drive, we headed up to the sea caves and quickly got out on our kayaks. Lucy, the instructor, got us to take part in a few fun games and then we headed off. I have very little kayaking experience so was a little nervous that I would tire out quickly but it wasn't a problem. We made regular stops along the coast to explore caves, love for fossils and even rock jumping. A fantastic day out and I would recommend to anyone - regardless of ability. Lucy was very welcoming and we will go again next time we are in Cyprus.

January was fairly quiet in Cyprus but all the better for my wife and I who booked a last minute holiday in Paphos. The weather was perfect, clear blue sky with cool to warm day time temperatures. We spent most of the week walking in the beautiful countryside but in the middle of the week spent a day biking with Zephyros in the Akamas park. It was simply superb! We didn't see anyone else all day. We biked through forests and along open tracks with stunning views. I was surprised how colourful the northern parts of the park of were. Flowers and grass growing everywhere. Our guide told us that during the next few weeks wild orchids will start to flower in the park which must be a sight! The ride started fairly high up and we went to the very tip of the park to visit a tiny lighthouse. We then descended down to the coast and cycled at sea level until we came to the southern most point of the park at a little fishing village. This part of the ride would be hot in summer but in winter was perfectly managable. Throughout the whole day, the two people from Zephyros that looked after us were very good. The chap that rode with us, Lee, was very knowledgeable and seemed to know all the names of the birds and flowers that we came across which was quite impressive. He was professional and fun and informative during the whole day. Lucy, who was in the support car dropped us off at the start and met us at the end and it was nice to know that should something have gone wrong, that we had a car waiting to pick us up. All in all, an excellent day in a beautiful place and with a very good organisation, I would suggest anybody wanting peace and quiet and beautiful country side to visit Cyprus in winter!

On our trip to Cyprus we went rockclimbing with zephyros. When we went to the shop ( at kato paphos), we were warmly welcomed by Lee. Willing to help is with pretty much anything we wanted to do and see, we booked a rockclimbing trip at akamas park. Good gear, very nice and professional instructor and the most beautiful rocks to climb on. Luckily we were the only climbers that day, in summer it will be way busier. Not only did we climb, we were allowed to borrow books for our hiking trips, were given maps of cyprus and Lee took the time to explain and answer all of our questions. Wonderful day with my two children 12 and 14, all relatively new to skiing having only had 4 hours of lessons previously. We were collected promptly from our resort and enjoyed the wonderful ride to the top. We only needed to bring very little in the way of clothes and borrowed fleeces , waterproofs, gloves and hats etc. The mountain was truly beautiful, with the troodos pine trees covered with snow but blue sky. We were helped to collect our ski equipment and assisted around the ski runs as we had asked for lessons. We enjoyed a lovely packed lunch outdoors in the snow , which included oranges from Lee's garden and grapefruit from a local villager on the way up the mountain side. Cannot wait to do it all again

Was in Paphos for a family wedding and my sister and I tried a days biking with these guys. WOW! They arrived at our hotel bang on the arranged time, drove us and three others up to the highest mountain (we biked past ski runs!) and we then spent a fabulous day, biking, laughing, chatting and learning about Cyprus. The bikes were perfectly set up, the guide was very knowledgeable and the trails and scenery were stunning. We had sandwiches and cake and fruit in a little mountain village and then rode to a famous ancient bridge. The whole set up was well organised and professional. The guys keep one of their guides in a 4x4 truck in the area in case of any problems and the other guide rides with the group and answers any questions and points out really interesting things. We rode about 50k (mostly down hill) of cross country and I loved every minute. At the end of the ride they take every body back to your hotel. A great day out we will never forget. Oh and the guides take photos all day and put them on line for you to see which was a nice touch!
