great place for families, teenagers and adults; to enjoy food, drinks and walks. Great time to visit is during the June festival which lasts about a week, with various stalls for all to enjoy!

So clean, so safe especially for young children since it is so shallow. Free access to everybody just 2 euro for a sunbed if you wish to have one and can stay for the whole day. Being surrounded by restaurants and cafeterias you will definately not starve and you can enjoy a nice cup of coffee in the meantime

This is a clean, safe and well organised beach. It is situated in the best seaside area of Larnaca next to a plethora of fast-food restaurants and cafeterias. The price for umbrellas and sea-beds are low. The sand, not soft and blond like in Protaras and Ayia Napa, is acceptable.

not a bad beach could be cleaned a little better by concil sun bed owners very reasonable in price and helpful here they are going to be replaced by the concil running in 2015 so i expect it will be crap thats what happens if you let them run things

Brits tend to think of Mackenzie beach when Larnaca is mentioned but I found it sadly lacking in comparison to Finikoudis beach. Finikoudis is subject to renovations at the moment but should be finished by summer (much of it is complete now). There is now a nice wide pedestrian walkway, a clean beach, cafes, restaurants and bars complete this promenade. At one end is Larnaka town centre and at the other is a museum. You will find a KFC a Pizza Hut and a McDonalds if you don't fancy any traditional Greek food from the many outlets there. The "Meeting Place" is a reasonably priced restaurant where you can enjoy English/Greek food whilst watching the world go by.

The reason I did not give the beach a score of 5 is that I think it looks slightly dirty with waste lying around.

It's a shame the municipality allowed those awful kiosks to be build right in front of the beach spoiling the nice views of the sea and the waves! I prefer walking or jogging along that beach in the winter instead of the summer. The beach itself is nice (too busy for my taste) but it has a lot to offer for tourists because it's organized and there are lots of options to choose from for food and drinks in the area.

This is a very nice beach in the heart of Larnaca.Even in low season when we visited, there were quite a lot of people around, with many sunbeds available for hire. It was very clean, but also a bit noisy as there is a road just behind the beach and a promenade close by with many bars and cafes and shops.This beach is great for kids and families wanting to be near lots of amenities, but not a destination for those looking for a more secluded and quiet spot.Larnaca castle is at one end of the beach, worthy of a visit if you tire of the beach.

finikoudes is one one of the most popular places in larnaca near the sea a lot of tourist love to spent time there swimming and eat after to the famous restaurants close to the sea there is also a small castle near by the sea side you can visit is very cloce to the commerciar area only 3 minutes fro there i recomend every tourist to visit finikoudes

Nice place to spent time. Water is bit cool but able to take bath. Sub bed is available for 2 euros which is affordable. Many good cafes are available on the beach
