Worth a visit. One of the best beaches on the Danube. Crowded in summer but worth the wiggling. Playgrounds for children. Quite clean beach.

It is known beach of Novi Sad. I especially love to go there when Ethno Festival is held music, food and drinks. It's beautiful.

Strand is crowded during summer time but is the best beach in Novi Sad. There is an entrance fee (during tourist time) but you can stay there for whole day, bcs there is everything you need to eat or drink.After tourist time it's a nice place to relax, enjoy the sun, read the book or meet with friends.

One of the best beache on the Danube. The crowded cafes for the young as well as the many playgrounds for children.Clean beach with plenty of showers. Besides the sand, you have the ability to enjoy the grassy part. In the evening during the summer is wonderful for walking and enjoying the live music.

Shop all morning then relax on a sun lounger to recover. This place has everything. It is kept in immaculate condition with cafés and bars surrounding it.

It is a very nice beach in the city of Novi Sad. It is near to the downtown, with all things that such place need to have. There is a long sandy beach, tree shade, grass part of beach for sunbathing a lot of cafes working from morning till late hours.It is the best place in Novi Sad to spend free time or weekend time from early May to late September.

Built at the beginning of the 20th century when Novi Sad was still part of the Austro-Hungarian empire. First of all realise you are not near any oceans! However, the strand beach is bigger and more beautiful than many ocean beaches. The draw here is the overall lifestyle of the place. Old people play chess in the shade, families use beautiful antique cabins, cafes seek cold drinks, trees provide shade, young people play sports in the water. Paradise!

This was probably the biggest let down of my trips to Novi Sad. My friends spoke about how great and beautiful Strand was.... but when I got there it was just a strip of sand along the river, under a huge bridge. The people there seemed to enjoy it, but to me this was nothing special. The water was not especially clean or beautiful. There were nice bike paths and a cafe or two, but again it was nothing spectacular compared to any beach on the ocean.

Strand makes Novi Sad a perfect city to live in. Beside slow living, nice people, beautiful nature-Alma Mons-Fruska Gora there is Danube and its beach Strand. The place to stay all summer long!!
