Tour to Side by bus and walked to the Temple of Apollo in time for sunset. It was beautiful. We then went to have dinner in a restaurant overlooking the water and walked back to the bus through the lovely little shops in Side side streets

A truly beautiful landmark in Southeastern Turkey overlooking the sea. Visit in the evening as the sunsets and you'r guaranteed the most beautiful and arguably romantic holiday snaps.

We have visited this site on at least 3 occasions. Each time we go, there is a better photo opportunity. One can just imagine how magnificent it must have been when it was built.Very impressive.

It was worth the trip to Side, seeing this ancient Ruins of the Apollo Temple. Entrance is free and there are Restaurants and Cafe's nearby for refreshment. It's a lovely view of the Sea from the Ruins.

We approached from the Marina, very easy to find, level walking.Only recently an entrance fee has been introduced but on our visit it was a cold wet February Monday and the ticket kiosk was closed. You can take good photographs from outside the Museum boundary but we wanted to explore and entered free of chargeI have added a few photographs of the Temple itself and other ruins close byQuite a few relics appear in nearby restaurants and bars, there is little security to preserve the site. Parts have been rebuilt to represent how it would've looked and there are several information boardsWill revisit in the Summer

Great view to the Mediterranean sea. A working project still being worked on, even more so during the low season. About a 7 minute walk towards the sea from the main road in Side. Does not take very long to see and walk around the temple. Very artistic pictures can be taken from here.

Very pretty ruins and lovely seeing the sea and snow capped mountains in the background. There are lots of boards around which explains what you are looking at.
