The Kemenes Volcanopark Visitor Centre is an excellent place who interested in about earth science. The attraction offers pleasant time from the age of 4-5 year old kids to adults. In my opinion the 2 hours stay is the very minimum, but if you want to walk along the nature trail and you like to have a lunch on the volcano in the neighbourhood of the Visitor Centre you can easily spent 5-6 hours there. The traffic sings are not the best, so you should check the location in advance. If you see the rusty and black cube you are at the right place... :)

Great idea for a few-hours entertainment with children. Very interesting & you got a great view of the hill from the top of the buillding

We came across the volcanic museum (thanks to TravelNotes.org) and what a find it was! Although we don't have any particular geological interest, it certainly more than held our attention. It is exceptionally well laid out over five floors, extremely informative, with films and interactive quizzes (in English, as well as German and Hungarian), with the option to dive deep into the geological detail or keep it at a high level.We were four adults, but would be great for kids too!

Nagyon kellemes élmény. Érdekes fém- beton építmény, sok interaktív látványosság, játékosan elsajatítható gudnivaló a vulkanikus tevékenységről. Csak feltehetnének GPS koordinátákat is a honlapjukra és kihelyezhetnének több közúti információs táblát is a jobb elérhetőség étdekében.
