A must see in Szeged. Imposing exterior with and stunning interior. As with many religious sites make sure you are appropriately dressed. No shorts or bare shoulders. Kippah are provided for men to cover their heads.

The Synagogue is a pice of art but its value is not used in a correct manner. The only stuff member present at the Synagogue was one of the most disinterested persons I ever met. It was like she was making us a favor by letting us enter into the building.

A lovely perfectly restored Synagogue, well worth a visit. The lady at the door was a bit of a grump, but I'm sure she was just having a bad day. That aside, the place itself is beautiful, and a reminder of the sad history of this part of the world with a long list of names of all the people who lost their lives during WW2 on both sides of the entrance foyer.

Visited the Synagogue in combinaiton with a musical event we attended there. A moving place to visit when one considers what happened to so very many of those who would have worshipped there before the Holocaust. Close to city center.

The first thibg that we wanted to see in Szeged was the Synagogue. And we were not disapointed. We were not able to enter the building since it was closed for some reason. Enjoyed the view from Gutenberg ut. Amazing!

Worth the visit to see this historical Jewish Synagogue which was the center of local Jewry till the war.It is also lit up beautifully at night. A wonderful lasting memory to all the Jews that lived in this city.

This beautiful building is a testament to the Jewish heritage of the city that was lost during the war.It is a proud standing structure with unbelievably intricate stone work.The local main church was built shortly afterwards and looks Getty similar but slightly higher so as to compete with the Synagogue structure.The

the most beautiful synagogue ever. have to pay to have full lights on for 2 mins for photo op. only open from 10am-12pm then 2-4pm so get there in time otherwise they might kick you out. unreal how gorgeous this building is on the inside and out.
