Situated in the town's main square right opposite the town hall, this catholic church is worth a visit to take in the beautifully painted walls, ceilings and the gilded sculptures. You may need to visit the website to check when the church is open and when services are scheduled as the church is locked when not open.Inside the church is refreshingly cool, a very calming and peaceful atmosphere with beautifully painted ceilings and richly gilded religious sculptures. The pulpit/ambo is particularly ornate. Take your camera, although available light may present some challenges. Using a tripod was not an issue and everyone in the church was very helpful and friendly.In my opinion it's definitely worth a visit.
