The park is located near the typical Lika small town of Perusic. There are general stores, restaurant Albatros (rooms), cafes, bakery, pharmacy, ATM, train and local bus station. Perusic is easy accesible from the A1 highway. In Park you can visit famous Samograd cave. It is known for its history (one of the first tourist caves in Dinaridic area), large passages and abundant speleothems. The cave is easy accessible, has electrical light and local guides. There are two educational paths that can be used for nice walks (2-3 hours). It will show you the main natural characteristics of this part of Croatia, way of life, local economy, speleology, geomorphology. There is also a trim path, bike paths, playgrounds. You can rent a bike. Near is Lika river and Kruscica lake suitable for kayaking and swimming during summer. Must see!!

Grabovača the elevation-hill, part of the continental part of the central Velebit, located between Highland karst plateau and Perušićkog fields. It is located at 770 m above sea level and near the karst left Lika River. On GRABOVAČA is priceless wealth of underground karst formations, even 1/4 of the total number of protected speleološlih facilities in Croatia. It consists of six caves and pits one: Samograd Medina cave Amidžina cave Great Kozarica small Kozarica Tabakuša Slipica-Jama/Japaga Samograd, Medina and Amdžina cave napopisusu protected national geomorfološkihspomenika nature.

In het park zijn meerdere grotten, er is er echter maar een onder begeleiding van een gids te bezichtigen. Rondleidingen starten om het uur. De grot bestaat uit vier zalen en is echt de moeite waard. Rondleiding duurt ongeveer een klein uur. Zorg wel voor goede schoenen, want het kan nat en glibberig zijn. Na de grot is nog de mogelijkheid om door het natuurpark te lopen en vanaf de top van een schitterend uitzicht op de rivier en de Bergen te genieten. Tip: kom niet in het weekend want dan schijnt het druk te zijn en wanneer je aan het eind van de middag komt kun je op de top genieten van een prachtige zonsondergang
