Wonderful old town; clean, historical, so european in its good way... Zagreb is one of the most beautiful citis in Europe, for sure.

This is place in Zagreb to find good music. I recommend the Caffe bar "Tituš" if you feel like rock and roll and if its summer go to Strossmayerovo šetalište and find some local artists.

Went with locals who are rightly proud of their city. You can do this yourself but better with others.

Upper Town is a beautiful, old buildings from the 18th century, peace and quiet, yet it does not have too many tourists which gives it a special atmosphere

Very pretty old town, lots to see. Pretty in the day or at night, when lit up by genuine gas lamps. Apparently, there are 2 gas lighters employed to light up the upper town's lamps, which are very evocative. You can walk up - good for the heart or use the funicular. Lots to see and walk around. Well worth the visit. Would return and would recommend.
