Not a great building, a bit unusual, but the most interesting here is the story of the tower, so while visiting just read about it, it's worth it.

To fully understand why so many people are amazed by this tower - do yourself a favor, read its history! Definitely something interesting, out it on your list to see. It is located inside of Kremlin so include it in your tour :)

About 500 years old, of course nicely renovated. On top of the beautiful white Kazan Kremlin, it is a unique tourist site in Russia, with a nice story to it.

...leaning, red, tall, but you cannot see its inside, it just stands on its own. More of a sight than attraction. According to the legend, Suyumbike was a Tatar princess who was supposed to marry Ivan IV. (Ivan the Terrible) and she consented under the condition that as a wedding gift, the Tzar would build her a highest building in Kazan in 7 days. He did and so the wedding took place. During the wedding feast the princess climbed up the tower to part with Kazan when she realized she could not just leave it and jumped to her death.

The Tower Building is inside the Kazan Kremlin area.It is built of red bricks and it is has a leaning structure.The historic story makes it real interesting otherwise it is a just a architectural object.However still recommend once you are in Kazan Kremlin.

It's just a beautiful piece of architecture, you can do nothing more than watching it. If you have a tour guide, he will tell you its interesting story.it looks better at night

Is very nice, and more when watch from far, the story might be real or not, but the tower is there.The story says that a tartar woman who didn´t want to marry the barbarian king rulling kazan those times challenge him and if he could construct her a tower in a week she will get married.The tower was build and princess did get married but after marriage climb the tower to the top and comited suicide.

Эта башня помимо своей истории и легенд, с нею связанных, интересна еще и тем, что она отклонена от своей оси и этим напоминает знаменитую падающую башню в Пизе. На фоне нее могут получится интересные и смешные фотографии.

Non meravigliosa, ma nel contesto in cui è situata risulta essere molto piacevole e anche romantica. Comunque se capitate qua fateci un salto.

Наверное, в каждом городе Татарстана есть улица Сююмбике, а тут - целая башня, да ещё с таким уклоном... Что там вышло у Ивана Грозного с ханшей - неразделённая любовь, или голая политика?
