On the last night of our stay, we attended a concert that was a benefit for Kongar-ool Ondar---a world renowned Throatsinger, and much beloved by Tuvans. He had passed away the previous year, and a statue honoring him was going to be made. Money from this concert would help pay for it.There had been a Throatsinging competition several days previously, and the winners were awarded prizes, and then sang and played instruments for the audience. Different levels, group and solo singers, shared their gifts with us. One in particular, was a young boy, perhaps 5 yrs old, who soloed with an instrument! The crowd was ecstatic! What a treat to have this experience as a final night in Kyzyl !!!

Попасть на спектакль, увы, не удалось. Но сделали пару фотографий на фоне здания. Очень красивое, необычное. Красиво выделяется и возвышается на центральной площади.

Театр интересен уже своей архитектурой: обычный, типовой советский проект (почти такой же театр есть в Абакане) доведён до ума с помощью внешних деревянных конструкций, "навешенных" на белый куб здания. Хорошо смотрится в ансамбле центральной площади Арата. Был и внутри, на благотворительном концерте (марафон по сбору средств на постройку буддийского храма). Неплохая акустика, удобный зал с комфортабельными креслами.
