One of the most places I have liked in Uraine since it has been contributing in the exposure of the Islamic culture and architecture in eastern Europe. People there are so friendly and helpful.

I was in Kiev in May 2014 and looked everywhere for a mosque and found this one which was closer to where we were staying, it was only a few stops by underground from the centre and once we came out of the Station (Lyk'Yanovskyi) we had difficulty finding someone who knew how to get there, eventually we found a lady (recently reverted to Muslim) on her way to the mosque and we accompanied her, it would have been difficult to find it without help as we took some short cuts through what appeared to be light woodlands and at the back of some flats (about 10-15 mins walk from the station). Eventually got there and was very surprised, the mosque is relatively new, very clean and with very good facilities. It was worth the effort and no doubt I hope to visit there again in my next visit to Kiev planned for next month (October 2014). If you do not want to walk you can get a bus just minutes from the Station and I think it is a couple of stops away. Should you decide to walk it just take a Right from Lyk'Yanovskyi Station and walk down to the sets of traffic lights, take a left there and walk about 10 minutes and that will bring you very close to the mosque.The area itself is not too bad especially near the Station, plenty of shops and close to almost everything, even the main train station (Vokzalna) is only a few stops away, in fact I am planning to stay in that area (near the mosque) for my next visit.

The moscue is build in central, but quiet and not easily accessible quarter of Kiev, namely Tatarka Mountain. This is ancient quarter of minorities (tatars, as name suggests, other muslims and notably, russian old-believers who fled Russia after religious reform).The moscue itself is rather new building. The muslim cemetery and just neighboring old-believers cemeteries are worth visit. Tip: go further back from the street to have beathtaking view from cliff of Tatarka.

Zaheduli

This is one of the few Mosque in Kiev. Its situated on the small hill top in Podol area of Kiev. After the renovation this year mosque exterior and interior looks fabulous. It provides Islamic religious services. Great place to visit if you are interested in exploring different religious beliefs..

Zaferovski

The mosque is built in a remote location (somewhat remote as it wouldn't be considered remote in the city where I live as my city has a 100km breadth). When we got out of the cab we were awed by the sight of the mosque. It was clean, austere and different. The outside of the mosque better than the inside. I think they didn't pay attention to the inner details as much.If you have time in Kiev it's worth a visit. From the mosque we walked down to the square. It was an entertaining experience.

Одно из самых уютных и душевных мест в Киеве. И экскурсии замечательные проводят для всех желающих. Любой человек может зайти в любое время в мечеть, попросить имама провести небольшую экскурсию - никогда никому не отказывали.

Всякий раз когда бываю в Киеве, всегда обязательно зайду в эту мечеть. Прекрасное спокойное место, можно узнать много нового, пообщаться с интересными людьми, полюбоваться архитектурой здания.

Посмотреть на что то необычное в Киеве можно здесь. Интересное красивое здание мечети очень впечатляет. Для экскурсии по городу подойдет!
