Visited this museum as the weather was not really good. Very nice museum showing the rich shipbuilding history of Mykolayiv. Lots of ship models and drawings showing what has been built since centuries.

I visited this museum in September 2014. This was a great educational museum visit for me as an American. I was pleasantly educated by this museum and the history of ship building in Nikolaev. A must visit for any American visiting Nikolaev.

Really enjoyed my visit here. The staff are very friendly and helpful, even the security guard was good. Very cheap entry fee and worth the visit. Just a little unfortunate that there was no one that spoke English when I was there as my Russian is poor.

This is nearly the best museum in Mykolaiv and the only of this kind in Ukraine. So it is definitely worth visiting if you happen to be in Mykolaiv. If you travel with kids, they are going to love it, too. Various models of ships and arms collection would be particularly fascinating for them, I believe. There’s also an open air arms exhibition in front of the right wing of the museum, in a small garden. The museum is large, and the exhibition is huge, versatile and consistent. It represents the entire history of ship-building in the area, from the early navigation attempts in ancient Rus through Tsarism and Soviet era up to the independent Ukraine (which seems to sadly be marked with the decline of the industry). I could wander around it for hours, especially that there weren’t (alas!) too many other visitors, so the access to all exhibits was easy. The museum attendants left very positive impressions: pleasant, caring, not indifferent to what they do. Many of them invited my attention to the best exhibits in their halls as I entered. In July 2012 the entrance was UAH 15 (ca US$ 1.85) only. Photography was allowed inside. There’s no café or restaurant or souvenir shop, and the only available information about the museum is limited to small leaflets in colour.

Наш Николаевский Музей Флота--уникальное место!! и это без приувеличения!! Там можно провести целый день и не заметить,как пролетит этот день!! столько интересных экспонатов,композиций,диарамма!!! А какие красивые и достоверные модели кораблей--как старых,так и новых моделей!! Атмосфера и уют--подарят вам не забываемое впечатление от посещения музея..Когда мои мальчишки были школьного возраста--мы почти каждое воскресенье там проводили! Наша семья очень любит этот музей!! Всех гостей и жителей города приглашаю посетить!! Окунитесь в морскую стихию,стихию путешествий и странствий,!!

Посоветовали посетить родственники. Очень понравилось: множество моделей кораблей, созданных на верфях Николаева еще со времен Российской Империи. Круглый корабль произвел неизгладимое впечаление. А также карабли-фабрики по производству консерв и заготовки рыбы!Рекомендую для посещения со детьми-школьниками.

Много экспонатов, у каждого есть своя история. Кто любит или просто нравятся корабли, приходите посмотрите было интересно.

Мои друзья из Николаева просто настояли, чтобы посетила этот музей. И он меня не разочаровал. Во-первых, зто единственный в Украине музей судостроения и флота. В 12 халах собрана уникальная коллекция с времен Крымской войны до сегодняшних дней. Очень понравилась диарама "Строительство кораблей на Николаевском адмиралтействе в первой четверти XIX ст." Она действитеьно является жемчужиной музея.В музее сохранилась уникальная коллекция старого оружия — XVIII-XIX веков: пистоли, алебарды, мортиры и др. Спасибо всем работникам за поддержку такого музея. Кстати, вход - всего 25 грн.

Nikolaev'i anlamak için gidilmesi şart bir müze. Şehirdeki tersanelerde Çarlık ve Sovyet zamanlarında üretilmiş efsane gemilerin maketleri, bir çok tarihi eser, resim görebilirsiniz. Rus-Osmanlı savaşları ile ilgili de bir çok belge ve eser bulunuyor. Müzede ingilizce ve rusça rehberlik servisi bulunuyor. Bu dillerden birini biliyorsanız muhakkak bu hizmetten yararlanın. Müzeyi rehberli gezmenizle kendinizin gezmesi arasındaki fark çok büyük.
