This cathedral is a wonderful place to visit. It is a UNESCO protected site and the cathedral of the oldest town in Denmark. Especially the tower tour is great on a clear and sunny day. This town is so worth a visit.

As a cathedral is in nothing special. But the view from the tower is amazing. The glass mosaic windows by Carl-Henning Pedersen are a challenge and can give rise to many different opinions.

I'd say that this cathedral is not worth going out of your way to see. In fact it is pretty boring. It's not very big, and it doesn't have any interesting interior or decorated walls. In fact we thought the modern wall decorations at the altar end was pretty terrible. They charge you 20 kr. to walk up into the tower, which we thought was a bit of a rip-off.

This old church have some very interesting things to see. Do visit the museum and tower. If you like COBRA art, you'll love the decoration behind the altar.

This cathedral was begun in the 1150s and finished somewhere around 1225. There is a tower with 248 steps to climb past the huge bells and on to the top where the whole of Ribe and beyond can be seen. Absolutely magnificent!

Very nice city with nice cathedral nad big square. All streets are full of markets, restaurants and ice cream. Also parking is without problem.

You can stand right next to the bells in the tower which was novel when they chimed. Really 'olde worlde' feel and rickety stairs which were charming. Interesting museum with good displays of local history. Cheap - 2 adults and 2 kids 50 DKK.

This city has over a 1000 years of history and a big part is the cathedral and museum. We spent about 2 hours going to the top of the tower and taking pictures of the surrounding area as well as the church itself. We walked through the small museum with interesting artifacts an information about the church. This is worth the visit and can be seen if not to busy in about 2 hours. But be prepared it is a hike to the top of the tower and the stairs are steep and not always uniform, just take your time because the views are worth it.

Ribe is the oldest city in Dänemark, founded in 704. The buildings that make up the old part of town are mainly from the late 1500s and earlyt 1600s and really, really nice.Scattered amongst them are small restaurants - a craft beer brewery, and plenty of little shops. It's well worth a visit if going to Dänemark, and well worth the hour or so drive from Billund when one has had enough of theme parks for a while.
