安徒生出生的房子位于欧登塞古城区偏东的地方。现在包括周围的房子在内，这一带改建为博物馆，陈列着安徒生的信函、旅游时的素描、剪纸作品等，剪纸还是挺巧手的。他出生的房子再现着当时的状态，室内他们用的家具、床，桌子上放着他父亲的修鞋工具。有意思的是，博物馆入口是新建的建筑，所以内部参观的时候也并没有发觉到自己在什么样的地方。后来走出外面，在普通房子的窗外，向里张望，发现了刚才在博物馆里面看过的装饰品，觉得很奇怪，确认后才知道，原来此博物馆利用了包括安徒生出生的房子在内的整个一个街区，房子内部都连接起来，创作出了相当大的博物馆空间。但街区外观还是没变，保留着普通的房子的外观，可以知道当时的街道的样子。我非常赞美这种巧妙的方法。

总的来说这里是一个欣赏美景的好地方。丹麦的消费很高,国家不大,但是地势平坦,天气阴晴不定,然而丹麦人很好,我同意下面的作为澳大利亚本地人的评论者的看法:逃离了我那可怕的、粗鲁的、有着无知人民的国家,来到了一个人们互相理解的国家。

这里很有趣,把我们的记忆带回到童年熟悉的故事里。整个游览还是有些贵的,所以我们去了书店,然后在草坪周围散步,因为主人告诉了我们哪些地方是亮点。

我们从哥本哈根乘火车到欧登塞,虽然车厢很干净而且火车也很高效,但是票价很贵(只需一小时)。乡村很美,遍野的绿色,还有许多农场。欧登塞是汉斯·克里斯蒂安·安徒生的出生地,我们还去参观了他的故居,现在已经改建成博物馆了。我们在这还遇到了以为丹麦朋友,一起在鹅卵石广场的一家户外咖啡厅用了午饭。这里还有许多美丽的旧时建筑。我们实在不能适应在户外用餐也如此的安静,丹麦朋友告诉我们丹麦人就很安静。要是在澳大利亚,这时会很吵。我们很喜欢丹麦,很干净,丹麦人都很美,很时髦。在这自行车也很多,火车很新很时髦,但票价真的非常贵!

Enjoyed this self guided tour with colleagues. Admission includes the miseaum, birth home, childhood home, and museum. The museum walks you through his life, all the way from his poverty stricken childhood, through his dealings with Dickens, all the way through his death. The details provided, along with the simulated artifacts, really tell the tale. Definitely worth the time and price of admission.

This was part of Cosmos tour in Odense, Denmark. If you are a huge fan of Hans, you would really enjoy seeing each and every letter, drawing and artifact of his life. Otherwise, it is quite boring! It was interesting how they put the time he lived in into world perspective. The movie was ok. The outdoor theater was closed as it was a Sunday so maybe if we had been able to see one of his stories acted out it would be different.
