This is probably a great place to better enjoy either during spring or summer rather than in June when I visited it. The most remarkable aspect in this time of the year is the peace you can find in this beach and the outstanding view of the Cerro Abanico. It is interesting to get a flavor of how a Mapuche community looks like. The coffee place is just OK, rather expensive I would say.

A 40 minute ferry brings us to playa Quila Quina. The ferry does not sail every hour, you have to inquire at the office in the harbour of San Martin de los Andes. The boattrip itself is the best part of our visit, the beach is not very interesting. If you want to walk a kilometre to see the waterfall, mind that there is an entrance fee to see it....

They didn't mention it at the tourist info but if you are foreigner you have to pay ARS 65 per person to go to this little lake beach... And 10 more to see the little waterfall... And because you just did 15km of dirt road, you pay... To see almost nothing. It looks like hundreds of other beaches in the area, beautiful but nothing special. Don't worth the price.

I was able to see it while on a Lacar lake ride. It is a must for panoramic pictures. Departed from San Martin de los Andes towards Chachin falls.

I felt like if I was in a motion picture! The landscape of the forest of the Andes is amazing!. The beach on the Lake Lacar has clear water. Great and paceful place to have a good time with friends and family

Me encantó!!!! Me hubiera quedado mucho más tiempo!!!El agua super transparente, no había nada de viento porque está como en un rincón y bien protegida. Divino el deck para sentarse a tomar un cafe con una vista increible.

si quieres desconectarte del mundo, disfrutar de hermosas playas de montaña y llenarte de verdes, azules y masajear tu espalda con los cantos rodados calentitos por el sol, este es el lugar.Se puede llegar por tierra, desviandose de la ruta por un camino bastante bueno de 10km aprox, hay un camping y tambien acceso a la playa.También se puede llegar por vía lacustre, los barcos salen del puerto de San Martín, es una bella excursión.

entre senderos y caminos montañosos, llegamos a quila quina, el paisaje es hermosísimo, hay una lancha que recorre el lago, y un restaurante dónde almorzamos pizza con trucha ahumada, realmente exquisito.....de los vinos de la zona la mejor referencia.

La playa es preciosa y no está super poblada.Se llega a través del lago Lácar con una lancha de poco más de 30 minutos de viaje.No tiene más que un bar y quiosco si deseas comer algo, donde los precios no son para nada accesibles.
