一定要去在中央广场萨尔塔的博物馆。我特别喜欢那个关于高海拔的地方探险以及三个印加儿童木乃伊的视频。这些孩子的故事给这里的礼仪文化提供了一个引人入胜的洞察。

If you are in salta it's worth to go there. You get to know about the history of the region. It's small, and the info is also written in english*take ur student card- 3 times cheaper:))

This small museum in the centre of Salta was well laid out, modern with description in English explaining how the mummies were discovered and their history. Well lit and displayed, a must if you are in Salta.

I found this museum to be very interesting, yet disturbing. The museum have explantions in English, but some videos are in Spanish only. The museum depicture the custom of sacrifying children to the Inka gods and the three mummie children found at 6500 above sea level close to Salta. You'll see one of them at display at any given time. I found it to be a bit disturbing and sad, it's really something else to see the actual human sacrified than just read about it. I recommend to go if you're a tad interested in Inka history!

A very nice museum with loads of information in both Spanish and English about the Inka-culture. There are some nice things on display and always one Inka-child as well (just one at a time because of preservation purposes). We got to see the lightning girl which was cool.Remember to bring your student/ISIC-card, there´s a discount!
