We were picked up at our hotel promptly at 7:30 a.m. to go on safari trip throughout the jungle-we were told we would see birds, animals and interesting vegetation. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the trees and plants we saw. At one point we got out of air-conditioned jeep-type vehicle and walked through the jungle for abut 10 minutes. We didn't see any birds or any animalsat that time or at any point during the 2 hour trip on an old logging road. Considering the fact that we paid $40 each for this trip, we suggest you skip it and just go to the falls!

We would have rated this higher if they had been more honest with the description of what to expect. We thought we would be seeing birds and possibly wildlife depending on the time of day. They picked us up at our hotel at 7:30. We understood that we would be leaving early so that we would have a better chance of seeing birds. We saw none. Also, the guide didn't even talk about the birds. He showed us that there were binoculars when we entered the jeep, but we never used them. This was disappointing because we specifically got up early to see the birds and it wasn't cheap.Now for the good points...Our guide spoke English very well. He had a lot of scientific knowledge about the history of the jungle, and the plants and animals in it. He seemed to have a script he was following but answered all of our questions even when we took him far from his topic at hand. He definitely knew a lot and we were able to learn a lot. This made us happy. We enjoyed the peace and quite of the jungle without any other people around. It is a jungle so be prepared for bugs. We recommend it. One more convenient thing, we didn't have to arrange transportation to the park because they dropped us right in front of the ticket booth for the park.

They promise you a safari that lasts 2,5 hours and after 1.5 hours you are at the end. The guide told us some things about the trees and the plants, indigenous or exotic. We did not see any typical animal, just an ant, a few birds, a rodent and a few butterflies. Nice trip. Value for money? No, if it costs 780 pesos for two.

Excelente excursion, muy divertida, muy buena predisposicion del guia. La excursion finalizo en una cascada donde pudimos meternos al agua y sentir la caida del agua

Lo super recomiendo , no sólo porque permite ver la selva desde adentro, sino porque los guías te cuentan los problemas que están pasando con los depredadores de animales, con las deforestaciones que, ayudan a tomar conciencia, independientemente que uno sale maravillado de ver la diversidad de vegetación que puede existir. Paseo altamente recomendable

fue increíble..todo verde,los animales a el alcance de la mano (respetar y no tocar)..pero si disfrutar de algo tan bello...y tan nuestro..gracias

una excursion hermosa!!! vimos tucanes, la guía conoció ese mismo día la especie que le faltaba , hay 5 variante sde tucanes, carpinchos, coaties, aves, el leopardo deja señales sin hacerse mostrar casi nunca!!! la mandioca es la estrella del lugar, pidan mandiocas fritas!!!!!!

Contratamos el safari por la selva de las 4 de la tarde. Exactamente a esa hora empezó a llover mucho. El paseo era en un jeep para 8 personas, al que le pusieron una lona para mojarnos menos. El jeep no nos pareció adecuado, porque de los 8 pasajeros, 4 van en los asientos de atrás, que están de costado y uno queda mirándole la cara al de enfrente en lugar de ver para afuera del jeep! Hay ventanillas, pero quedan a la altura del hombro y es difícil ver el paisaje. El sonido de la lluvia contra la lona impedía escuchar al guía! Cuando paró un poco la lluvia pudimos escuchar mejor, y no nos pareció que diera mucha información. Las cosas que contaba el guía eran muy interesantes, pero estuvo guiando durante menos de la mitad del tiempo, y no había un "plan B" para la lluvia (esto lo comento desde mi experiencia como guía en otro lugar). Como la vegetación estaba bastante crecida, cada tanto el guía bajaba del jeep con un machete y la iba cortando; esto implicó largos ratos de estar sentados en el jeep mirándonos a la cara sin hacer nada. Como punto a favor, el guía tenía un buen manejo del inglés y fue haciendo una guiada en los 2 idiomas. Además, tienen un cuaderno con imágenes de la fauna autóctona que usan para ir mostrando de qué animal están hablando. No sé cómo será en días normales, pero habiendo ido en un día de lluvia no tuvimos una experiencia recomendable. No fue malo, pero no valía lo que cobraban y no lo volveríamos a contratar.

Novedoso y experiencia hermosa, muy lindo recorrido por la selva. Su flora y fauna me encantaron y a mi hija también!!!!
