Geysers was blowing out everywhere. We did some funny move by jumping over the shooting geyser haha! So funny and fun. The bigger geysers was blowing steam and bubbling mud everywhere. The smell is strong so dont stay too long and becareful when you walk as there are no protection at all around the geyers. It still can be cold although you are surrounding by the geysers.

Your tour guide brings you here really early, so you can take amazing pictures when the sun rises. The sound of the geyser is quite loud and the power is impressive. The volcanic activity is animatedDon't stay too long, the smell is strong and there are no protection at all around geysers. It is very very cold !

Geysers blowing everywhere. The geysers are very noisy as well. Blowing steam and bubbling" mud" everywhere. It is an unusual experience and should not be missed. You will need to go there in a 4x4 vehicle. This place seems to be Toyota 4x4 country. Those are the only vehicles you see around.

I never expected to see natural geysers in Bolivia. Perhaps I should do more homework but if you research too much before visiting somewhere you are invariably disappointed. The power of one of the geysers was quite strong as evidenced by the sound of steam escaping under huge pressure and you felt as though a new blow hole could appear at any time. It was good that you were able to walk around quite freely without fences or signs but you do need to be careful!

If you're transiting this part of the world, you're going to pass near these geysers. They're intermittant, loud and up to about 10 metres in height. Do not travel 100 Km just to see these!

Once there you can realize (if the lack of oxygen allows you..and that's not obvious) what a wonderful place you have around you. Wide spaces, wilde and severe nature..but awesome. Once of those meeting you should not miss to set up your relationship between your own and the earth on with we live

On some pictures this looks like a huge area - it is in fact not that big. It can also be very windy and cold which kills the attraction a little bit. Overall a nice spot but for anyone who has been to Yellowstone for example - keep your expectations real lol.

The only negative about going to the geyser is that it's close to 16,000 feet in altitude. So, if you aren't super acclimated to the altitude, you'll definitely feel it as you climb up towards the geysers. It looks like the moon except for the fact that there are these bubbling caldrons of goo created by the extreme thermal activity below the surface. Makes for some great photographs.

I didn't know this before I came to Bolivia, and I didn't know it's so big until I saw it with my own eyes and feet. It's very interesting to walk around between these wholes and watch the mud in it with different color boiling. Would be really nice if there is a hot-spring hotel next to it, like those in Japan. ;-)
