This is a really nice museum, offering a great display of historic Bolivian items, such as the Bolivian Declaration of Independence and many other treasures. The tour is quite interesting and easy to follow.

Very well run tour. I learnt a lot about Bolivia's history. The tour guide was lovely and spoke fabulous English. Highly recommend this tour.

Casa de la Libertad was a great historial building that should not be overlooked in Sucre! The english guide was subpar and could have been better. She could have explained things more throughouly and not assumed that everyone was satisfied with her one line explanation. Overall, I enjoyed the tour and learning not only about Bolivian history but about the formation of South America as a whole!

We took the guided tour in English and did not regret it. Our guide was very well informed, and in the end it felt like we had read hundreds of books about Bolivia. A great museum overall.

Entry of Bs15 for foreigners includes a guided tour in English or Spanish. Our guide was wonderful, and she gave great context to the displays. I found her account of Bolivia's history fascinating. The building is beautifully maintained and very peaceful, just steps from the Plaza 25 de Mayo. Don't miss it!

We had a guided tour in English, the cost of which was included in the entry's ice of 15Bs. The guide, Veronica, provided a fantastic account of the political history of Bolivia and really helped put everything on show in context. We would not hesitate to recommend a visit and tour to anyone wanting to gain an insight into the history of Bolivia.

This museum houses the Bolivian equivalent to what the Declaration of independence is in the USA. Going with a guide will also give you more details on all the attracts and portraits that are housed in this museum. For anyone interested in the history of Bolivia this visit will be very rewarding.

Very interesting museum. Be wary that they start closing the doors of the various galleries 20 minutes prior to closing time - do get there in advance to enjoy the entire museum.
