Definitely worth a visit on a sunny day if you're in Iquique - pretty square with some beautiful buildings.

Strange square, with too many bank buildings. The theatre and bar are interesting buildings. Comfortable place to sit and watch the locals chat.

The Plaza is somewhat small by SA standards but has a nice feel to it. There are several small restaurants and business surrounding it and other flea market type vendors selling their wares off of tarps on the ground. Some of the old wooden buildings just off the Plaza are very interesting but like most of the town in need of a facelift.

Nice place in a really busy town with some old buildings around. The glock tower and old trams and the theatre give us the feeling from the old time. Around the place are a many sales booth with souvenirs.

As most "plazas" in Chile and Latin America it is a place where visitors can beguin walking the history of Iquique. Interesting, the Cathedral is not in this "central plaza"

A large open space that gives some respite from the narrow and very crowded streets that surround it. Old railway carriages give an impression of what may have once been, but now offer a place to sit, and perhaps reminisce. Perhaps this is why the local Casino is called “Dreams”. An simple but attractive fountain leads up to the central Torre Reloj, which also provides a wonderful photographic opportunity.

Típica plaza con sectores verdes (mal mantenidos en este caso), una torre reloj central antigua, bonita, una explanada y el teatro municipal al frente. Todo mal mantenido, afortunadamente sin grandes edificios en el entorno. Pero tranquilo y agradable para pasear

Hace años que no visitaba esta plaza, fue renovada y le quitaron los arboles que brindaban sombra, ahora es un espacio con mucho sol, conservaron el reloj central el cual es un icono de la ciudad

linda, con el teatro municipal coronando, pero el olor de los Jotes es de lo peor, la pérgola es imperdible, aunque la han dejado de lado
