Barrio Lastarria is a short walk from our hotel, so we have eaten there almost every night this week!Bustling with stylish restaurants, great wine bars and the best ice cream in town (Emporio La Rosa.)

Leafy street with many good restaurants and lots of foot traffic - good for people watching. Sidewalk vendors are interesting also.

I was recommended to go here, found it rubbish. not sure how its supposed to be, but the centre seems it was a plaza or something, but is now a big construction site. I expected street dining, but was little choice. one restaurant whined when i wanted a glass of wine and didn't want food. Another couple of restaurants in a side alley are actually in the entrance to a small mall or something. Better visit the restaurant are near mount Cristobal.

Worth a visit to this upscale abd relatively safe barrio ( but always keep your purse close). Nice restaurants, cafes and helado/gelato spots. Great walking and architecture viewing.

We stayed at the Hotel Ismael, just a few steps around the corner from Lastarria in which there are several good restaurants. We would do all that again.

Lovely area with lots of restaurants with outside tables; nice place to people watch.Central to many sites of Santiago. Easy to walk to from Plaza de Armas, La Moneda, GAM (Gabriela A> MIstral) center, etc. Boutique hotels.

This is a very nice "barrio". The street Lastarria is filled with small cosy restaurants that are very well priced compared with their quality. There are also plenty of locals eating here.
