Quinchao island is charming with beautiful views, darling Unesco churches, cute wooden houses. We were blessed with a gorgeous day of sunshine and puffy clouds. We took the ferry from Dalcahue, drove the length of the island, stopping at various viewpoint lookouts, then worked our way back, stoping at Qunchao, Achao, and C. De velez for sighseeing. It took almost all day. The church in Quinchao is beautiful, as in the one in Achao. Achao has the cutest wooden houses. All along the only road down the island there are overlooks, and we stopped at them all for a view. We drove all the way to the end of the island, having lunch in Anchao.

It is out of the way, on a ghost town and probably it will be close, but it is still impressive.I'm not sure if it is the biggest church of Chiloé or not, but it is my favourite.Right on the shores of Quinchao you have this massive church that can probably hold over 1.000 people. It is quite a view, and by sunset the view is amazing, just beautiful. If you are on thr church mood this is probably the big MUST of the Chiloé adventure.Who or why someone constructed such a massive church on such a small village...I just can't explain it.

linda iglesia en un contexto muy bonito, cerca de un humedal.saliendo de la carretera pavimentada hay que hacer una bajada con fuerte pendiente en un camino de tierra, por lo tanto es recomendable un todoterreno o no viajar muy cargados...

en un poblado perdido al final de la isla de Quinchao, frente a Dalcahue, se alza majestuosa esta iglesia q contrasta enormemente con el pequeño caserío que la acompaña.

Solo la pude ver por afuera, creo que la cierran como a las 17:00hrs o al memos el día que fui yo. Una iglesia bien antigua, que la verdad en lo personal no me llamo mucho la atención. Al parecer la iglesia es como la única atracción de la villa (sin considerar el paisaje)

Esta iglesia queda bastante distante, del siglo XVIII, restaurada varias veces por obvias razones dado la fecha de su construcción, es Patrimonio de la Humanidad!!!

Iglesia muy antigua que esta junto al mar pocas casas con mucho espacio a recorrer y cooperación de las personas que allí cuidan para que podamos fotografiar y traer hermosos recuerdos del lugar.

Esta vieja iglesia está en la zona llamada Villa Quinchao, hacia el final de la isla, más allá de Achao. Está aislada, en regulares condiciones. Es la más larga o grande de Chiloé.

Emplazada en una explanada que permite observarla muy bien. Estaba cerrada cuando fuimos. La mas larga de las Iglesias de Chiloe. Muy linda

La ubicación de la iglesia no está en la región de los rios , si no que en la región de Los Lagos, en la isla de Chiloe.
