Yes it looks, sounds & is a very interesting building to see & walk round, it probably is however there is just one problem with your plan.The building is NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC UNTIL 2PM ANYDAY, BE WARNED.Plus there is only one English speaking guided tour per day at 3pm only.If it wasn't just for those small disappointing details it probably a good tourist attraction.Pearls of Wisdom:We are all growing older, the trick is to enjoy what you have whilst you still have it.Today is right now, yesterday is history, & who knows what tomorrow will bring?Regents I have a few, to few to mention, lucky you.

Still performing a legislative function, as well as, it seems, functioning as an arts studio, the building also houses a series of free museums,The exhibits are ok, and it good shape, so visiting, which is free, doesn't hurt. But exceptional it isn't.

The interesting part of this building, which used to be the legislative assembly, is that you can sample artifacts from other Asuncion museums within. It has many displays, great views, and a wonderful staircase made of iron and marble. It is definitely worth an hour of your time and might lead to visiting other museums in the city.

Es un edificio que fue del antiguo cabildo y que posteriormente fue usado por el Congreso de Paraguay. Hoy es un centro cultural, con lo que se puede visitar y recorrer, por ejemplo, la historia de la Música de Paraguay.

Законодательный дворец находится в самом центре города. Если честно, то абсолютно ничего интересного, никакого величия и близко нет. Если сравнивать с нашей Государственной Думой, то совсем убого. Хотя здание в колониальном стиле, памятник местному герою и лестницы внутри достаточно необычны.

Quem disse que não tem obras bonitas no paraguai aqui esta uma das provas que estao enganados, se trata de um belo local amplo, diria imponente emfim belissimo mesmo.

Frente a la plaza independencia esta el edificio antiguo y el nuevo (uno al lado del otro). Desde el punto de vista arquitectonico es muy bonito el edificio viejo que no pude ingresar y solo lo fotografie de afuera. Si quieren vayan para el lado del rio y vean la parte de atras del edificio (en la calle paralela al rio) y veran una parte muy antigua de ladrillos que la mantienen en pie y detras el nuevo edificio....haciendo un contraste llamativo.

C'est l'ancien parlement. A voir certainement plus pour l'exposition d'objets au rez de chaussée que pour l'étage où était la salle du congrès.
