For Maracaibo it is the only real public place to go for exercise and enjoy a view of lake Maracaibo. The temperatures are very high (between 32 to 40 centagrade) from mid morning to mid afternoon so its best to go before or after this period. There is police vigilance but there are still reports of muggins so its best to stay within the areas where the most people congregate.

Its a nice place fir walking and breathing fresh air, enjoy of the nature and tour around the lake, there is a lot of fast food places for eating

This is the place to go for a run, jog, workout, bike ride, or walk in Maracaibo. It offers free wifi, bike rentals, and exercise stations. The most prestigious university in Maracaibo is located inside and one of the best Gyms in Maracaibo is there as well. As you may already know, Maracaibo is not a safe city. However, they have somehow managed to make "la vereda del lago" a safe place. I still recommend precaution here.

Considered great by locals, as a foreign visitor I would say it's worth a visit. It's a pretty safe place to jog around and have a view of Lake Maracaibo.

Great park located just in front of Maracaibo's lake. Very nice sight, full of people working out, nice place if you want to walk, run or practice any sport.

This is Maracaibo's biggest park. If you do exercise this is a nice place to make jogging, have long walks. You can find public tennis courts or make some bailoterapias or exercises classes near the tennis courts at night. You can find this classes from monday and thursday nights.Going by car on monday or tuesday at 6 pm. it's a little bit troubled, there is too much people there. If you can go in the morning, very early it's better.Remember, the sun in Maracaibo is very strong.

Whatever you want to do in the outdoors this is the public place to be in Maracaibo, actually is the only one as good. The kids love it. Seriously, don´t let this place go down by the time or government ever

There are not many places where you can be or feel safe, but all locals come here to do sports, hang around with children or just to see the lake right in front of you!

Really pretty and lots to do. One of the nicest places to visit in Maracaibo if you're an outdoor person. Fairly clean and it has a lot of little shops where you could grab a snack. It has a water park, go karting track, reantable family bikes and a paintball place among other things to do including a gym. The prices for these "attractions" are affordable, especially if you have dollars.You will often see runners jogging at anytime during the day! So you may say is somehow safe. It has a police house inside the park as well.I wouldn't recomend La Vereda if you can't stand the sun or the heat, otherwise is a great place to go on a Sunday and have a good time with the kids. The view is one of the best in Maracaibo, since it's facing the nice side of the lake.

I gotta give props to the mayor of Maracaibo for this park. It is super clean and you feel very safe! Also, there is alot of activities to do. bike rentals, go carting, mountain climbing wall, water park, the tranvia(a bus that takes u on tours.) alot of lil cafes and some restaurants. also if you like to walk or jog, in the afternoon there are lots of joggers and walkers
