Among trees, sculptures and modernist architecture are in perfect harmony among big trees, manicured gardens and murals from latinamerican and europeans artists from the 50's: such as Calder, Miro, Vigas... A must see when visiting Caracas.

Wonderful place, great campus, wonderful works of art, great walks, unfortunately a tad run down

I found the Ciudad Universitaria a little disappointing. Maybe my expectations were too high as I knew it is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Most of the mofern art there is from the 60's and the 70's and some of it looks run down, particularily the library.

It has art peaces all around, but the state of them are abandoned.
