Apart from the free museums (closed Mondays), the surrounding area is lovely and tranquil. It's nice to just relax on a stone bench, enjoying an ice cream, or contemplate away from the busy avenues. It's an easy, few blocks' walk from Bellas Artes metro station.

Hardly any new exhibitions poorly kept. Next to the natural science museum and next to parque los caobos, the ateneo and teatro teresa carreño. Should you have time to spare you could take a quick peek

It was my first time in Caracas when a friend and I hung out at the Bellas Artes Gallery and stumbled upon a live performance of Venezuela Cuatro Cuerdas where we got to hear a sample of Venezuela's diversity in music: tambor, gaita, parranda, and llanero.

There is a great permanent collection of contemporary and 19th century art that is surprising in its diversity. The quality of the art exceeds what I have seen in comparable institutions in BsAs and Mexico City. Many of the contemporary artists show the influence of the art of the early 20th century in Europe but none of it is copy-cat. The historical paintings of the rich men and women who ruled vast estates are superb and capture the souls of these people making them seem familiar, while they remain aloof.My favorite part of both institutions which share one small building is the gift shop of each. I was able to buy outstanding small sculptures. interesting collage and some beautiful jewelry. Very reasonable. I found these shops to be world class. No trinkets or stuff manufactured to appeal to museum goers. These were real pieces of quality art and craft. The people in the shops are extremely helpful. I want to go back with an empty suitcase and buy, buy, buy. But, aside from this, the art was outstanding, and I know good art from bad.Caracas, while supposed to be dangerous, is a wonderful place with the greatest climate on earth.

Tiene buenas muestras de pintura y escultura venezolanas, da una idea mas o menos de nuestra tradición cultural.Esta al lado del Museo de Ciencias Naturales, y se estaciona uno en el Teatro Teresa Carreño, a su lado.

Ubicado en la ¨Plaza de los Museos¨ (por donde hay que estar pendiente de nuestras pertenencias), con sólo entrar al edificio vale la pena el viaje. Salas con exposiciones itinerantes y jardines internos atractivos pero el secreto mejor guardado son sus exposiciones permanentes donde se pueden encontrar obras de autores de la talla de Picasso.Para estacionar, el teatro Teresa Carreño.Para acceder en metro, estación Bellas Artes.

Muestra diversas obras de artistas nacionales e internacionales, el museo esta ubicado en el casco histórico de Caracas, de facil acceso, no tiene ningún costo la entrada a esta atracción desde hace algunos años, el lugar esta bien conservado. Recomendable para visita con los niños

Sigue siendo muy agradable visitar el museo de Bellas Artes, las obras, pinturas espectaculares, se sigue manteniendo en excelente estado, buena atencion

El que quiere conocer caracas no puede dejar de conocer el museo de bellas artes!!! Esta muy bien cuidado, aunque tiene muchas sala cerradas pero esta en buen mantenimiento
