I really enjoyed it, it has animals from the region. I recommend avoiding going at noon as the animals hide in the shade.

Los Ocarros is a small zoo locaten in the city of Villavicencio. You can find all kind the locals animals, like black bears, birds, iguanas. The Zoo is very well design and very well organized. Its very clean and the design is great. I will recommended for children above 4 years old. Also I saw some made by Colombian indigenous people. The zoo has a few places to cool of as well. You can take a taxi from any part of the city. It will cost you around five dollars the most.

The zoo and the animals are well kept and it is not very crowded. there are a lot of endangered beautiful species. The zoo's restaurant is very good and so is the service.

A great place to see animals from the region. The zoo is fairly small and you can see most of it with a few hours. There are restaurants and snack shops throughout the park. There are also local students to help with information on the animals. Its a nice place to spend some time while visiting Villavicencio.

This was literally the best zoo i ever went to. Its close to the forest which keeps the animals in there natural habitat. A huge lagoon in the middle contains a flock of beautiful birds. Parque Los Ocarros also serves as a sanctuary for endangered animals. Which means that this zoo is home to animals you could only see in this zoo! Animals indigenous to the Amazons are exclusive to this one of a kind trip of a lifetime zoo.

es un zoológico con todo tipo de especies animales, el diseño del parque es espectacular, los hábitat donde tienen a los animales son adecuados y apropiados para los mismos.

La vez que fui no tenían en las mejores condiciones a los animales. De todas formas nunca estaré de acuerdo en que exista esta clase de parques donde tienen encerrados a los animales.

Realmente todo lo nuevo es interesante. A veces se tienen altas expectativas por comentarios o investigación de los sitios turísticos vía web. Este parque es similar a varios otros en Colombia, con un zoológico interno de variados animales especialmente de la zona geográfica, de allí que se llame ocarros (una especie de armadillo). Cuenta también con un acuario de agua dulce de gran tamaño. Villavicencio en su conjunto presenta un gran atractivo turístico de los llanos de Colombia.

Es un sitio muy bonito, en un lugar muy tranquilo y con mucha variedad de las especies de mi tierra. Lo que no me gusto fue que en mi última visita pude ver que varios animalitos no están en muy buenas condiciones, ademas los felinos están es espacios supremamente reducidos para lo que ellos necesitan.

Es un zoológico es buenas condiciones y tienen una gran variedad de especies nativas, entre ellas el chigüiro y el Ocarro (es un animal!!!) No me gustó la forma donde está el Puma, la verdad se ve muy estrecho y poco cómodo para el animal (partiendo de la base que está en un zoo)... ojo, no ir en día de lluvia, es una pesadilla...
