The fact that it is free is appealing, however, there is very little on display. It should provide more depth to the history and evolution of the Carnival with its many iconic characters and cultural significance. We were expecting to see more of how the Carnival has evolved and grown throughout the years to become one of the biggest carnivals in the world... second to Rio's. It is important to note, however, that the staff was friendly and kind.

There is nothing to see actually, when I went out I thought it was a waste of time. At least it's free.

Vivid displays tell about the mixed cultural origins of the city's famed Carnaval, so anyone interested in folklore, arts & crafts, ethnography and so on will find the explanations, particularly those on the African and Arawak influences, really interesting. Photography buffs will love the place too.

I was visiting Barranquilla and this place is full of information on the Carnival traditions and culture. The staff here are SO helpful and friendly. They knew a lot about the Carnival but also helped me with some other things to see in the city.

Visitar esta sala es intearactuar las raices del carnaval del barranquilla, muchas fotos haciendonos ir al pasado, y ver lo atractivo que es disfrutar del carnaval, esta ubicado en la casa del carnaval en barrio abajo.

Una sala llena de color y de música, donde se cuenta la historia del Carnaval y su relación con la llegada de los europeos. Además de la sala, en la Casa del Carnaval se encuentra un archivo documental sobre la festividad, incluyendo una terraza que busca preservar la arquitectura del lugar.Pueden comprarse souvenirs frente a la sala.

Es una buena opcion para conocer los origenes de la fiesta más importante de Colombia, El Carnaval de Barranquilla, me gusta que se puede interactuar con las máscaras y hacen uso de la tecnologia para disfrazarnos, ademas de tocar los instrumentos musicales de las danzas del carnaval. Los souveniers que se pueden conseguir son artesanias de muy buena calidad, marimondas, toritos y negritas puloy, en medio de mascaras de tigres y burritos, para llevarse un pedacito del carnaval a la casa.
