Very nice park in a busy urban area of the city. Many active people running around/biking. On weekends there are crafts and venders of all sorts. No need to visit Octavalo with this area so close.

The park has amazing geographical features, making it a real treat to walk, jog, or bike on. It's usable all year long, having long summer weather and short rain storms. Even for a walk with the dogs, it's a great place to be, with amazing view of Quitos valleys.

The title basically says it all. It's a bit of a hike just to get to the entrance from the base of the city and public transportation, aside from taxis do not come up this high. Recommend using a taxi -- cost is approximately 1 USD from Avenida de las Americas where it meets the stadium.

It's a park. If you don't have kids, it's not worth your time. If you have kids, it's well worth a visit because they have several nice playgounds and plent of room to run around. Bring water!

The whole town rides bikes on Sunday and no alcohol. Pretty important info to know before you visit. They rent bikes on the side of the road, we did, and it was fun. We did visit several parks. Note, they have free bikes that you can take and put back, they have white plastic wheel covers over them, so you know which ones they are. Don't rent and waste your money like us, there are plenty of free bikes. if you do rent one, they will ask for a copy of your passport before they let you take the bikes. $6 an hour per bike is what we paid. It was fun but strange that no one mentioned it in any TripAdvisor reviews to prepare us for thousands of people riding bikes, streets closed everywhere and no alcohol on Sunday. Most restaurants are closed as well...fyi.

This park is very nice and has great views of the city and I would frequent this park if I lived in the area, but there is not much for tourists to do. It is a very peaceful park and lots of people with their dogs (there is even a dog agility course). We took a taxi to the park but towards the end of the day there were no taxis and we had to walk back to the main road.

This park is awesome to chill, ride a bike, hang with your friends, or just alone, and mostly all the buses pass near by

I recommend you visit this park before going to the Guayasamín museum, it is a beautiful park, just be careful with the bikers.
